Hello STM, hello AM

Hi, 1 month ago I joined STM. I have experience running ecom stores, videos, paid ads, email, content, copywriting, website building, optimization. Right now jumping into AM, doing pop traffic. I am looking for sweepstake SOI leadgen offers that pay up to $5. What would you say to your younger self affiliate dreaming about xxxx/day camps?

Hello and welcome to the forum anacona!

May I ask what are your motives to drop eCom and move into POP and sweeps?

On one hand, POPs are likely the perfect training ground for anyone starting with paid traffic, but on the other one, the future is elsewhere and eCom might very well be it

For example, TikTok is growing rapidly and eCom people are having a major party over there right now! And since the source isn't that saturated yet, it's very possible to make solid returns there, especially for those who have their own products.

If you really want to change focus and jump into POPs, make sure to read every recent thread from @twinaxe and look at PUSH traffic too

See you around,
Matej.

Oh wow! What a set of skills!

The 40-day tutorial is great for learning the basics about trackers, landers, testing and optimization. Pop is still the cheapest and easiest to learn. But I'll be honest with you: These days without some major moat such as auto-optimization tools or exclusive offers etc., it would be hard to get to stable 4-figure profit days with pop.

If you're experienced with ecom, videos, and copywriting, I would recommend that you try your hand at social (e.g. Tiktok, FB, etc.) or google (including youtube). Pop and push involve a lot of ripping and running and testing massively and doing everything with speed. Not a whole lot of innovation is involved in terms of advertising angles, copywriting, and learning to sell in general.

Plus, with social or google, profits potential is so, so much higher than for pop/push.

Not trying to hard-sell anything of course - feel free to keep running pop for a bit, or progress to push (which is similar). We'll be here to help!

Any tips on running sweepstakes on pop (efficient testing, LP, efficient optimization, efficient funnel)? Can you share some affiliate networks for sweeps? Thank you. I will post my campaign progress tomorrow when I get recommended offers from my networks. Will appreciate help. Have a nice day.

Sooo, if you really want to jump into POPs, do these 2 things please, if you haven't already

1. Go through Amy's 40-day tutorial : https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...l-2021-Version
2. Start a follow along once you are ready to start some campaign, or even if you get stuck in the process and we will help you along the way. You need to get your hands on a live campaing and start with the setup process, because it's hard to understand the whole process without doing so. Check this follow along for inspiration: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ion-to-Make-It Lars is sharing some golden advice at the end of it.

What @matuloo suggested. Also, here's a guide I wrote on sweepstakes that can provide a solid foundation of knowledge: https://stmforum.com/forum/forumdisp...weepstakes-101

Question I ask myself right now is do I look for landers in spanish, english or any language (translation issue. I understand English only) ?
For Spain and Italy you need local language. But no worries, for the beginning you could translate with google if you only find landers in English.

Once you see potential you could either hire someone for proper translation or invest in a spy tool that has a broader range of landers.

Do I need to come up with my own copy? What will I need to change in the ripped lander design? Copy, images?
No need to reinvent the wheel. Design wise you only need to change image and text so that it matches the price. Remove brand logos in case there are any.

Last but not least... you should seriously consider push traffic for IT and ES.

For pops lower tier geos might be a better and easier starting point.

P.S. the 40day tutorial is gold in many regards --> worked for me and many others
