Multi-Geo Offers

How do you properly setup a multi-geo offer a traffic source?

I'm confused because if it's multi-geo, then what language do I put in my traffic source?

Not very sure what you're asking. Do you mean the language targeting on the traffic source that you specify while creating the campaign?

And does the offer automatically shows a different page with the correct language to each geo? Or does it detect the browser language and show the same language? Or does it show the same language no matter the geo or browser language?

Can you select more than one language per campaign on that traffic source?

Are you direct-linking or using landers? If using landers, are they set up to show multiple languages?

Yes

Basically, what language do I put the ads in?

@anthonyh

I will try to help here best I can based on what I read...I am assuming a few things:

1. The offer accepts multiple-geos AND IT changes the offer page language based on the user coming in...
2. You are direct linking from Push ads? I am pretty sure you are using Propeller right based on other FA etc?

Say you are running an offer that accepts German, French, and Italian traffic. In this case you CAN use 1 campaign link in your tracker if you want, and separate results by country to see LP click rates, offer CV rates, etc. OR (and this is what I do) you create 3 cloned campaigns, each with their country code like:

Clickdealer - iPhone Sweeps - Push - Germany
Clickdealer - iPhone Sweeps - Push - Italy
Clickdealer - iPhone Sweeps - Push - France

Or something like that. Each now gets its own campaign link in the tracker. Then at Propeller...Just create the first campaign with all the settings you want, and make its ads GERMAN. Then post in the German link. Clone that campaign at Propeller and change the country target to Italy, and the link to your Italian campaign link as well as change the creatives to Italian. Repeat and repeat. Keep everything clean and separate.

There are multiple ways to do this, it's just how much you want to separate everything.

I'm not a fan of multi GEO campaigns, I strongly recommend the create separate campaigns for every GEO.

Bids in each GEO are different, you should use language specific Ads and LPs... traffic from one GEO can behave in a different way than from the next one, it will mess up the stats.

There are definitely more positives in separating the GEOs than not. So unless the source doesn't offer the option to target GEOs, I ALWAYS pick just 1 GEO for 1 campaign.

Ah you just want to know which language to put on your push ads?

That's simple: Group your geos in different languages, and create one campaign per language.

So let's say the offer accept WW (worldwide) traffic, then you'd have for example a campaign targeting all geos that speak English, where you'd use English ads.

And a separate campaign targeting all geos that speak Arabic. And another for geos that speak Latin Spanish. Etc.

This can be a great way to do a quick and dirty test to uncover the most promising geos, and THEN you'd probably want to set up a separate campaign for each promising geo so you could optimize each one further.

Alternatively, you could just set up one campaign per geo from the get-go. Up to you really.
