Which affiliate network(s) have lots of education/online course offers?

And which traffic source is good for promoting them?

I'm looking for language teaching offers and traffic source.

I'd like to promote for others and also put my online course on it, so affilicates can promote for me.

Thank you.

You will probably be better off going directly instead of going through a network. The key to making this work is either very precise targeting or cheap/free traffic like an email list/blog/Tiktok organic etc.

Thank you soo much for the tip.

You will probably be better off going directly instead of going through a network.
Is there a specific reason going directly is better? I thought experienced people there might make me some money back quickly by promoting course for me. Or joining some education affiliate network might give me some idea on how to design my landing page.

I can understand blog and tiktok organic. But how is it possible to have a cheap email list for students who what to learn a specific language?

Which affiliate network(s) have lots of education/online course offers?
And which traffic source is good for promoting them?

I'm looking for language teaching offers and traffic source.
For networks that specialize in education offers:

1)Got to our aff network directory and search for 'education':

https://stmforum.com/affiliate-directory/

2)Go to offervault and do the same.

3)Go to this forum's advance search, and search for "education" within the forum "Affiliate Offers & Traffic Opportunities":

And click into some of those thread to see the details, to see which of those have language offers specifically.

As for traffic sources:

Like @chris has suggested/implied, you need to be able to target specific audiences. Broad audiences are not likely to work too well.

You need to do some research into WHO would want to learn a new language?

Some phrases to type into google:

language course statistics

why do people take language courses

language courses demographic

language course how to market
Some examples:

-Parents want their kids to have an advantage in the work place later on in life - this is a HUGE market

-People that have recently relocated to a new country

You may need to dig deeper to find some of the information. For example I saw this in one of the articles I came across:

Then I googled "average age for job relocation" to find out target demo info:

I only spent less than 5 minutes on the "research" above - I'm sure you can find out a LOT more if you spent a few solid hours on this!

And this type of research doesn't JUST tell you what demographics to target - you can also find out what angles to use. E.g. Tell people that learning a new language can help them advance in their career.

Is there a specific reason going directly is better? I thought experienced people there might make me some money back quickly by promoting course for me. Or joining some education affiliate network might give me some idea on how to design my landing page.
There are pros and cons of running direct. Usually payout is better but payment cycle is longer. If you're comfortable running with affiliate networks, by all means do that first. Then once you see promise, explore the possibility of running direct.

I can understand blog and tiktok organic. But how is it possible to have a cheap email list for students who what to learn a specific language?
Do a search on google as though YOU yourself want to learn a language. Look for affiliate sites that have opt-in forms. Get in touch with the webmaster to see whether they'd be willing to do a blast for you and how much they charge.

OR: Make use of the demographic research you did above, then find mailing lists that have those same audiences. For example mailing lists targeted towards parents/parenting.

Hope that helps!

I meant for running other people's offers.

It depends on the email list, for example, an email expats living in Portugal will have a greater desire or demand for learning European Portuguese that a random email list for people who are interested in ice hockey.

Can you send me details about your online course. I am scaling websites dedicated to expats this year, so i might be interested.

@cmdeal
That might be English is not my native language, or I just lack some knowledge about email marketing. But what do you mean by "an email expats"?

@vortex
Thank you soooo much, Amy. I have read your answer several times. It gives me many new ideas on how to promote my course now.

There are still two things, I don't quite understand.

Look for affiliate sites that have opt-in forms. Get in touch with the webmaster to see whether they'd be willing to do a blast for you and how much they charge.
I'm new to affiliate marketing, (just finished reading your pop, and Twinaxe's push tutorial). Don't understand what you mean here.

Make use of the demographic research you did above, then find mailing lists that have those same audiences. For example mailing lists targeted towards parents/parenting.
Do you mean, there are some already estanblished mailing lists??? Where can I find them?

Look at websites in the niche that have a newsletter and reach out. Look at other courses (not directly competing with you) that target the same audience and ask them to do a RevShare. In some countries, there are platforms to buy placements in newsletters.

I understood that to be a mailing list for expats living in Portugal. @cmdeal?

So happy to help - thank you!

Regarding the opt-in forms: This just means forms that collect people's info such as name and email, usually in exchange for a lead magnet like a free pdf or free email newsletter or something similar.

Go to google and type in "mailing list for rent" and you will find a ton of info on how and where. Later today I will also look through some threads here on STM and point you to some info.

Another way as I was explaining above, is for you to "pretend" to be your target audience, and look for lists to sign up to. For example one target audience is parents. So if you were a parent what types of lists would you be signing up to?

Probably stuff like "parenting advice", "extracurricular activities for kids" etc. etc. Go look in a couple of parenting magazines and you'll find a ton of topics.

So what you do is google these topics, browse each website to see if they're building an email list (i.e. have opt-in forma to collect your email), and get in touch with them to see if they could send your email to their list for a fee.

Tip: You probably want to target parents that are willing and able to invest in their kids. So think: What are rich parents spending money on?

Here's one example: https://www.privateschoolreview.com/...de-for-parents
(This particular site I don't think has an opt-in form - but other sites on the same topic might! You can do some looking there.)

BTW I just saw that Clickdealer has some English course offers you may be interested in:

https://stmforum.com/forum/showpost.php?p=431430

Disclaimer: I haven't run these offers myself - just saw them and thought I'd let you know.

Have fun and please feel free to continue the discussion! I may come back to post more info later if I find relevant threads.

Amy, thank you so much for your time and patience.

I never thought I can market this way. I'm the kind of person who never check email from strangers. Never thought people do the opposite as me exist...
@jeremie

Thank you, jeremie. I never thought I can even do a revshare with email list... That can really save me some money.

Absolutely email marketing in alive and well! There are also other kinds of lists - SMS and chatbots for example.

And marketing to lists isn't your only option. The demographic info I gave you in the previous post will allow you to target on Facebook.

And let's not forget google, or youtube, or other social platforms.

You just need to be able to target your audience.

As promised: I did some looking - here are some resources that may help you to find lists:

https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...st-NOT-a-list)

https://srds.com/direct_marketing/

https://lists.nextmark.com/

PLUS: You can build a list yourself by building niche websites and collecting emails. The only downside is that it could take a while to rank keywords in the search engines.

Or: Build some type of following on social media - a FB group for example, or a tiktok channel.

Or: Tap into other people's FB groups. For example build a simple website with an opt-in form to give away a simple ebook - e.g. "Top 10 Best Apps for Learning [Language]" - I'm sure you can come up with better ideas. Then join a bunch of FB groups and forums etc. where there are people helping each other to learn a language, and post your link (some groups don't allow this so be careful; some groups charge a fee but if they're big it may be worth the cost).

There are so many ways to sell something, but the steps are basically the same:

-Identify the best audiences/demographics for your product.

-Either build a relevant audience, or find out how to reach existing audiences.

-Craft a message for each audience and put it in front of them.

Hope that helps!

@vortex
Hi, Amy. Thank you.

In fact, I did put out YouTube ads one month ago, and found it doesn't work as I expected, but after reading articles and posts on affiliate marketing (Especial your newbie tutorial, I really hope I can read it earlier, although it has nothing to do with Google and Youtube, but the idea is sooo similar). I found it's not because YouTube ads not work, it's because I did it wrong.

I also post a new thread on what should I do when it comes to optimization on platforms with huge inventory there:
https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...ush-and-native

If you have time, please give me some advice there.

Try to look here as well: https://www.liveintent.com/

It's a platform/marketplace where you can find related email lists and buy Ads in those. It won't be cheap, but targeted email clicks can convert VERY well
