3000$ profit from Facebook traffic in a week on pin-submits in applications
Hi everyone, today I wanted to share a case based on one of Applink.network affiliate stories. Please enjoy and feel free to leave any feedback.
My name is Oscar, I am working with Facebook and TikTok traffic in all verticals. Lately I’ve been working as an affiliate with the “Applink” network. In the beginning I was using TikTok as a source of traffic for their offers. The reason for that was constant Facebook bans, while TT did not have such issues. Recently, Applink started providing agency Facebook accounts for affiliates with whom they’ve been working for a while and in whom they have no doubts. Even in today’s Facebook reality these accounts make it possible to achieve good spends without getting banned. In today’s article I will show you a case about the pin-submits vertical on the applications provided by Applink.

2. About advertising applications on Facebook
So why should you consider coming back to Facebook? During the last months many people in our industry moved to TikTok traffic. There were obvious reasons for that: Facebook was very strict and bannes just kept on happening over and over again. But recently this problem became less serious. What are the advantages of Facebook over TikTok? Right now the auction on TikTok is overflowing, which makes it very hard to get a good ROI. Facebook, at the same time, does not have that issue, which is a very big advantage. As I’ve said before, for a pretty long time Facebook was in “rage” and working with it was almost impossible. I’ve been working with FB for 3 years now and I know that these periods are normal for this source and the best thing that one can do is just to give it some time and get traffic from other sources. Lately it came back to normal and together with accounts provided by Applink, I was able to earn good money from Facebook traffic again.Regarding the provided cabinets, their most important feature is that they come with big limits. There is no need to spend a week on the warm up of the account and there is an opportunity to make big spends right from the beginning.Managers of the network provided statistics and recommendations about the best offers, best working offer-application and gave some creative examples. For the test I chose an app which allows one to choose the country, scroll through people who are currently online, choose one and have a video call (ofc girls were on all creatives).I found some pretty recent creatives through a spy tool. Since I have been making creatives for TikTok for quite a while, I know that there is a pretty good and easy to use built in video editor. I formatted the chosen creatives a bit - removed the unnecessary parts and changed the girl which is seen in the end of the video. What is worth mentioning is that when working with Facebook it is highly recommended to unicalize the creative with a special software after each reupload. In the beginning I needed some time to get used to the new approach since I used to optimize Facebook traffic for apps on the registrations. Applink’s applications are on Appsflyer. Hence, not all events are tracked on FB and the traffic should be optimized on installs. First one-two days I was adapting and trying to understand how today's Facebook performs. I started with geo EG because it’s a cheap one and it’s better to perform tests on such ones. On the first day I was not even able to break even. I tried optimizing at the lowest cost since I have not worked with Facebook for a while and my last experience was with nutia where that type of optimization performed well. Manager suggested that the optimisation should be set to a cost cap and on the second day I tried the same creatives but with this approach. Out of 10 tested creatives, 2 worked well with a ROI of 70%. On the third day I adjusted the bid and the price for conversion on Egypt was 0.12-0.15 cents. With a payout of 0.23 it is a very good resil with ROI being almost 100%. After the approach and creatives were found, the routine started: slowly increasing the budgets, duplication of adsets and turning off the poorly performing ones. What is more I started checking this approach on different arabic geos. The ones which worked out well were SA and KW. During the day the correct bids for this geos were found. KW had 75% ROI and SA - 85%.
At the end of day 5, ROI started to slowly descend, this meant that it was time to test another geo and to make new creatives. Manager gave a hint about a new, fresh geo that has just been added to Applink, being ZA. I decided to try the same app. Since the geo was new, I did not need to reinvent the wheel and could just use the same creatives that worked well before. Surprisingly, already at the end of day 6 I was able to find one geo with a good ROI - 80%. Till the end of the week I continued the routine and was making profit.

The final statistics looks like this:
Detailed breakdown by geo:
And a couple of screenshots from Facebook.

What I want to note is the importance of communication between people in our field. Although I do have a pretty good work experience, it would not have been possible to achieve such results without close communication with Applink managers. At all stages, they gave advice on offers, suggested how to improve the creative, how to work with cabinets correctly, and helped not to give up after the first not very successful days. And that's what stories like this are for, to show the benefits of a win-win strategy. In our industry, everything depends on communication and acquaintances, because it’s always nice to get some kind of tip or to give it to someone yourself.

Thank you for this!
I'd be interested in more information about the pin submit offers in this case study.
"What is worth mentioning is that when working with Facebook it is highly recommended to unicalize the creative with a special software after each reupload."
What does this mean exactly please?

So basically, if one of your creatives gets scanned, when you'll reupload it fb will already know that it was used and how it was used and this increases the chance of both creative not passing through moderation and account getting banned. Unicalizing software basically adds a bit of "noise" to the quality of the video. People's eye cant see the difference no matter how many times you run it on the creative, but for facebook it seems like a completely new photo or video that has never been uploaded to fb. Hope it helps to understand.
