Spy on the Top TikTok Ads FOR FREE!!!
In case you weren't aware, Tiktok publishes their top ads, and you don't have to pay them a cent for this
https://ads.tiktok.com/business/crea.../topads/pc/en?

It is a great source for inspiration, and a terrific way to get a feel for the types of ads that work well on Tiktok.

The worse they're made and the more amateurish and unrefined they are, the better they work. Some 'top ads' are so awful I can't even bear to watch the entire 10 seconds.
They sure ring some old-school bells in an entirely new-school medium.

Yeah exactly, I had a look at few top ads but for me I think they were not that worth. I dont whether the stats are true there or not

Great resource! I've shared this several times in the past. Most recently here:

Conveying the right message to the right audience has always been the key to advertising, no matter the traffic type. The rest is just making the ad blend in better with the organic content on the respective ad platform.

Time and time again, it's been proven that
ugly sells.
The theory is that they stand out from the rest of the ads that "look like ads", by looking more like organic content.

Did I show you one of my ads?
I guess on Tiktok with it's UGC it's even more true than on other platforms that amateurish works better than professional look.

FYI if you ask your rep you can opt out of your ads showing up on this dashboard.

Came here to mention this as well, I can't imagine any serious affiliate is enabling the option to have their ads be publicized lol.

I don't remember the url, but there was (maybe still is) a website that turned nice static ads into ugly ones
Ugly ads definitely work, especially in verticals that can benefit from the sense of raw reality or whatever I should name it. Dating is one of such, amateurish home style photos will outperform a professionally shot model any time of the day.

I tried to find the site you're talking about - haven't found it yet, but found a ton of info that backs up our point that "ugly can convert better".
