Hey guys and Gals,
I have currently joined back up to STM for some guidance due to running campaigns again which is exactly what I want to be doing
I am currently running 1 Campaign on Microsoft promoting an email submit offer for "Rent To Own" through the affiliate network of Max bounty. Picking this vertical came down to it provided a decent pay out of $4.40 and the expected EPC of around $0.40-$0.50 cents and it seemed like a decent offer to choose from since I currently have cracked my threshold and gotten access to other offers.
My funnel looks a little like this Ad > Landing Page with 3 questions about the niche > lead capture > redirects to offer. Now my goal of the campaign is to at least break even and grow an email list for free but I wont say no to being profitable on the front end. I then plan to email these leads relevant offers etc to take in pure profit minus email expenses.
The campaign I am currently running is my newest campaign and have now been running for about 4 days included today and have spent a total of $18.44 and have captured 16 leads for a CPA of $1.15
A total break down of stats:
Impressions: 1392
Clicks: 51
CPC: $0.36
Spent $18.44
Conversions: 16 leads
CPA: $1.15
Conversion Rate: 31.37%
I am currently receiving a EPC from Max bounty of $0.60 which is currently leaving me with a 30% loss on the front end. I am currently using Click magic as a 3rd party tracker and uploading my ad spend to get relevant data, so this could be out by a few percent but thats the best I have at the moment.
Now the problem I am facing is Microsoft isn't spending my budget of $25 a day and from my understanding is I either need to Up the Bid's for the keywords (which will drive my CPA cost up which I don't want, I want that to come down equal to my EPC) or add more keywords and try and get more keywords at lower bids. I am not exactly to sure which route to take, I like seeing leads come in and making some commissions and I guess I am stuck in the phase of not touching anything because i don't want to break anything even though it needs improving haha.
Not sure if I need to try my campaign over at Google where there is apparently more traffic, i'm not to sure.
I dropped a lot of info on this follow along which I will update the stats to create a legit follow along but for any PPC or search masters out there that want to input some wisdom I am all ears and if you would like to see more data or anything let me know and I will provide it if it will help me move forward.
