Search Scaling
Any tips for scaling with Bing and Google ads? I have competitors with the same payouts and landers spending 10x more than me. I am wondering if they just bidding way higher to get all the traffic while I am more conservative. Do they just take more risks and have big loss days then really high profit days.
Does anyone have experience with this?
Thanks.

The algos work in a more complex way, it's not just about the bid, there are more factors that come into play.
In the end, google want's to make the most per impression, so ADs with higher CTRs and better user engagement will be pushed more even though they have a lower bid than the others.
In other words, make better ads, use better KWs and you will get more traffic for the same price and it will be easier for you to scale. This is just a very basic advice, I'm sure the members could give you more tips, if you tell us more about what you are doing and how you are bidding, how strong the KWs are and whether there is space to grow etc...
You can also scale on the display network or video partner sites, in case you run video ads.
