Dating on Pinterest (30)

Dating on Pinterest

Has anyone ever tried dating on Pinterest Ads?

Any luck?

Is it allowed in their terms and conditions? Most mainstream social networks don't like the dating niche. However, Pinterest is fine with the supplements niche which again is a bone of contention for many. So, yes, if they allow it you're good to go. Pinterest is awesome if you know what are doing. Not at all crowded Facebook or Google and cheap high quality clicks - 12 to 15 cents in the U.S.

I didn´t test Pinterest Ads myself but I thought about it few times.

From what I read there is a pretty buying intended userbase.

There are also probably more women than men so that dating maybe isn´t the best vertical for Pinterest.

In the end it´s as always, there´s only one way to know if it works or not -> Testing

Thanks Guys, I'll give it a test Is there a how to start pinterest guide on this forum?

No, Pinterest is not that popular as an advertising platform.

Few years ago I coded a PM spammer for Pinterest but didn't have much success with it

Last year I gave Pinterest a shot to drive traffic to a blog which kinda worked.

From what I remember Pinterest is all about the pinboards and nice color schemes. Loads of cooking recipies, "wisdom quotes" and things that look stylish on pictures there.

My audience was 70%+ female and I hardly saw any typical male content for DE (men don't need recipies for cooking ).

Pinterest regularly offered me advertizing voucher like "spend 10 USD and get 40 USD worth of traffic". Just sign up for the ads platform and wait a few days. With such a cheap deal you can get some kind of idea if could work for you. Maybe you can target "tinder sick" 30+ year old females.

Dude, that's so wrong

Nice tip

Oooh... I was refering more to the "need". Probably there is reason why most of the star chefs are male... because they can cook excellently without a book

@larsometer Then you are of course absolutely correct

thanks guys, I got my mobile ad approved but the desktop ad was rejected. I appealed it to see what they say.

I think it could have huge potential because my dating offer is for seniors. These sites NEED senior women, and Pinterest seems to have a lot of those.

Fingers crossed to hit gold!

All dating websites are in need of female members, so Pinterest could be a good source as almost 80% of their users are females. When it comes to age, about 70% are 30-64 so again, great match for dating.

On the other hand, bulk of those users are using pinterest to find ideas for cooking, home decoration, gardening etc... but who knows, a properly designed dating AD might catch their attention.

I've never though about this source in connection with dating, but now I have to admit it makes a lot of sense Let us know how the test went!

cooking -> "Cooking is much more delicious when you do it two by two. Find your head chief HERE"
home decoration -> "The most beautiful home is still empty when you are alone. Meet your soulmate at XYZ"
gardening -> "The big bags of flower soil are too heavy for you? Let your Mr Big from XYZ help you out"

Whoever cracks this (if it hasn’t been done already) will make bank.

I have known many 30+ women who, yes, use Pinterest to look at domesticated shit like recipes and arts and crafts. And then in another window/tab were chatting about sex with a random stranger because they were… unsatisfied. Even married women.

But. For the married ones: They would never actually cheat on their significant other. It was just for… stimulation. Of a sort.

Also a chance to send single, older ladies to “senior” dating offers.

Tie that directly into Pinterest and… it’s a possible goldmine.

This is the reason why so many semi-fake dating sites filled with bots and VAs chatting with members can survive. MANY members don't really look to meet, they just want an online flirt or a dirty chat and that's what they get from these sites

Spent about $75 without a single lead, I'll focus on other traffic sources before I trying again.

Thanks for the update.

How did you promote the offer(s), did you use a landing page or did you direct link?

Also how many offers did you test and how did you choose the offer?

Did you target males or females?

I think it could have huge potential because my dating offer is for seniors.
Did you only test that offer?

If yes, do you have previous good experience with that in offer that you can be sure it's converting?

Exactly that's it.

Many or even most guys there don't even want to have a real date.

They get their ego boost already from just chatting with "hot" "girls".

Some time ago I had a very long phone call with my AM from Sexmoney (now Traffic Partner) and he explained me alot about how dating offers work.

Isn't it interesting how the absence of one "s" could ruin the whole plot that has been building up in your head? )

Dating.com is allowed. We did test with them 3 years ago, but that time they weren't that huge. I would say, that if you want to sell try Pinterest traffic on our dating offers you are welcome. WE have offers for Female audience

i'd say, that it could work only for female audience and only for mainstream offer with a nice visual content.
wish you good luck!

05-24-2022 06:15 AM #29 datinggroup ()
