How to get a credit line with Outbrain

I'm from outside the US, I live in Europe and wasn't able to test much because they usually require 5k prepayments.
Not running AM until recently, I don't have a lot of proof other than cashflow in my bank account lol , enough to get that approved.
But I'm wondering if anyone else was in a similar situation and how they managed to get a 40-50k credit line. It's a bummer that this is the only thing stopping me so far from testing it. How did you present the study case or any tips and tricks that got you approved?

Any source that has ever given me a credit line, and it wasn't many at all, required BIG and regular spendings prior to even considering something like this.

You have a better chance to talk with your bank to get some credit line, then use your card to fund the account as you go.

I see, I don't think that's an option, getting a big credit line from the bank and use it as a proof. I only want to pay by credit card and not pay 5k instalments upfront. Anyone else from Europe being able to pay with credit cards on Outbrain? Thanks anyway Matuloo.

If you have credit cards already, use those? If you need more credit line on your cards, ask the card company. They’d be happy to give you 40-50k credit line.

Or.

Get a business credit card with unlimited credit, like American Express.

Or. If you have money and cash flow, just use something like wise.com to do wire transfers at lower fees.

as far as i know outbrain doesn't require a 5k prepayment on new accounts anymore. so you can setup a new account and simply add your credit card

@jaybot They do not accept cc payments outside the USA. For non USA, a prepayment is required. As in for a wire, not card. So I need to pay upfront. The problem is I cannot add a cc payment method in my account.Maybe my post was confusing mentioning credit line, what I need is to have approved a cc payment method so I can pay by card, not upfront.

@nusolutionz The account is 1 year old. Didn't use it because of this reason, of prepayment. I cannot myself update payment method or add cards etc.
"If you would like to update your payment information, or have any questions, please contact your Account Manager or reach out to". So not sure how is this not available anymore if i don't have the option to.

i'm using a german credit card for years to pay outbrain. and cc payments were instantly available when i setup a second account a few weeks ago.

probably best to reach out to an outbrain account manager or open a support ticket. maybe they blocked cc payments on your account because it has been inactive for over 1 year. should be easy to get this resolved by the support.

I reached out to the contacts I had asking them to enable me a cc payment method. Even when I created my account, had to go over a call with a sales rep and he said cc payments not available , then asked my account manager several times if they could activate a cc payment method and he said not possible .So there must be just some countries pre approved I guess.
Either way I am waiting for their answer hopefully they will approve it. Won't give up until they do lol.

It might be some security precaution for new accounts and since you have never used this account, it's likely still looked at as new.

Of course the big ones like google or FB charge you once you spend, but the standard smaller affiliate networks all ask for payment first.

And let's be frank, Facebook keeps you on a pretty short leash until you establish a history of paying and not violating their policies, at least in their eyes. I suspect Google is pretty similar.

The only one I've seen willing to extend a lot of credit out the door is TikTok, and it appears they do some vetting BEFORE extending large credit lines.

Let me clarify. I’ve used the account. I’ve made a 5 k prepayment by wire. So prepayment. I’ve tested . Paused because i had to make prepayments upfront. So the problem is I cannot add a card where i can load funds. Just min. 5 k prepayments. Does that make sense? Revcontent let me add my cc, add funds and that was it.

I believe my post was misleading mentioning credit line. So my bad. It's just about the option of adding a credit card as a payment method where I can add funds, instead of wire prepayments.

Gotcha, all clear now. Well, looks like this is some limitation on your account or your country of residence. I'm afraid this is something that just their support can help you with though.
