How did you crack 6 figures profit annually?

Simple question, how did it you crack 6 figures in profits on a calendar year in affiliate - ecommerce etc? And how long did it take?

This is my mid term goal so curious as to how long it took you and what you feel the contributing factors were. I posted a similar question in FA but there no one directly answered the question.

Simple answer: I made enough revenue that the profit was high enough to be 6 figures

And how long did it take?
In € it was probably 5-7 years, in $ maybe a year earlier.

That being said, it was never and is still not important for me to make 6 figure profits.

When it happens it happens, if not it´s also ok, it´s only important that I make enough for me and my life.

Probably the most important factor for me was a genius mind in terms of creativity

But seriously, I had 2 things running for years that were almost 100% automated and worked very good.

One of these things made up to €1k profit per day for some time with absolutely no work, all automated.

Unluckily both things stopped working few years ago but the combination of traffic + creative mindset to make use of the traffic was extremely profitable.

Took me 4 years of time.
Most importantly, just stick with 1 traffic source. Master it.

And in 2-3 years, i can guarantee you, you'll get your 6 figure year.
The only thing is that, people don't have patience.

I agree with the excellent posts above...

If you really break it down, you basically just need the requisite ingredients plus lots of hustle/dedication:

-A traffic source that can support that amount of volume (most can, but not all)
-Big enough bankroll to cover the float (mixed with fast, efficient payouts potentially)
-Enough man-hours (should just be one person - but do you have 12 hours a day or 1 hour a day to dedicate to it?)
-Offers that convert well and have a high enough cap
-Enough good offers and good networks/vendors/relationships that you can CONSISTENTLY make that amount of money EVEN if your best offer goes down.

That's my two cents at least

When you hit a unicorn campaign that scales easily, its super easy to crack six figures per month as well. It happened to me, was unexpected back in 2014.

I had similar experience - only for me, it wasn't a unicorn campaign - it was an easily-scalable method. And it only took me around 4 months to reach 5-figure months (so 6-figure year).

It was accomplished by direct-linking from google adwords to CB products. I think it was back in 2008-2010 don't remember exactly - I actually shared how I did it in a post on the warrior forum back in the day. It was one of the very first shares in the war room - Allen Says approached me to arrange this. Fun times...

It was crazy easy money. I was a newbie, not even really skilled in adwords, working a couple hours a day. Picking CB products that had high gravity and low refund rates, doing keyword research, and throwing up google ads using pretty much the same ad template across most/all products.

Of course, the fun started to end when google smartened up and started penalizing direct-linked campaigns. I kept running for a while using a bridge page I came up with to maximize the number of clicks to the CB products as much as possible, but only products that converted the best with the highest profit margins continued to be profitable.

But yeah - it was fun while it lasted.

I guess many people can tell about such things, not only related to Google.

There are always loopholes or just creative ways to get things running very easy - until the platforms shut it down.

I can only speak for myself but I had it with Torrents - Easy 4 figure days.
PPV - Easy 4 figure days.

All these things are not working anymore for one reason or another.

But new platforms or trafficstreams pop up all the time and in my opinion these can still be things where especially beginners can get a good headstart.

When you run campaigns for long enough so that you found what´s working for you then you probably won´t test random or crazy stuff the way you did before, at least that´s the case for me.

I still test many things and also sometimes rather random stuff but nowadays I do it with the traffic I run anyway.

In my first years of affiliate marketing I did so many different and crazy things just out of curiosity or just to see if something works or not and I found many good things that way.

Exactly this can be a huge competitive advantage of a beginner who isn´t that much in a "tunnel view" mode already.
Be creative, test crazy stuff that is overseen by "the veterans" and try to make use of loopholes as long as it lasts.

I started in August 2017.
During 2018 I was too focused on freelancing (one of those offers that is too good to pass on)
In 2019 I reached 6 figures in profit.

I think that the main contributing factor to it was to build up on the skills I already had. (web development, knowledge of the fintech industry, Google Ads, experience running websites when I was a teenager). Otherwise, it would have taken a bit longer.

Reading through this entire thread - I can summarize as follows, approaches to cracking 6-figure profits:

1)Be the First (get in early on a new opportunity)

2)Be the Best (not necessarily "the" best, but hussle hard and be BETTER than most/many/some)

3)Find a Loophole (and milk the heck out of it before too many people start doing the same and the loophole closes)

And of course, combinations of these.

This thread is a light. Great to hear about all the success and some different perspectives from you all.

Focusing on scalable opportunities running on a traffic source your competent in. Do the work longer or better than everyone else and of course... Fork over the cash.

First mover advantage is also something that i've seen play out real time. Between Scotty (tik-tok) and Rhino (cal push). Or you could just be genius like Twin
