Struggling on where to restart (5)

Struggling on where to restart

I’ve been around the native space for about 5 months on and off and mostly in the nutra space. I was unable to get much traction as I was advertising in T1 countries and I had a small budget and well… I am new so my first ads and first landers were quite shit…fun newbie mistakes.

I’ve been trying to educate myself by reading copywriting books and trying to learn how to make a better looking landing page, that kinda stuff. Anyway, to the point.

So I’m trying to sort of start from the beginning with native. I’ve heard that leadgen or sweeps offers can do well on native and I wanted to advertise in T2 or T3 countries since I don’t have a big enough budget to do T1 .

I feel like I would be much more successful if I knew what works well for the landing pages as right now I feel like I’m shooting blind. Any suggestions on what landers work well on native in sweeps verticals? If I’m trying to get them to do CC submit should it be quiz qualifier or survey or something else.

Overall I feel quite lost on where I should start since there are tons of ways to go and I don’t have the budget to test all those ways.

To sum up everything, what’s a good starting point on native ( sweeps, leadgen, financial, etc) and what lander would be best paired with it, and lastly would it work in a T2 or T3 country and lower offer payout?

Thanks
I hope all this made sense as it was as it was essentially me spewing every thought and question I had on where to begin.

Hey my man -

So I wouldn't get too hung up on sweeps specifically... definitely worth trying but like most verticals, I'd guess there's a 90% chance it won't work...

Not gonna sugarcoat it, native is really hard man... its a pretty mature space with lots of competition...

With that said, it has tons of positives too...

But yeah, in my experience 99% of the time the answer on native is "Test more offers".

You're really looking to find "diamond in the rough" offers/verticals/vendors that you can run for years on end successfully.

So yeah... spend lots of time spying with a VPN to see what is running in what countries... then go out and try to find those offers or similar ones... then run them in roughly the same way (with a bit of your own creativity mixed in)...

Maybe you find some really awesome way of running sweeps that works great and that's your thing... or maybe you speak German and you just dominate German lead-gen... or maybe you develop an exclusive relationship with a single Clickbank vendor... or you get really, really good at quiz funnels... or lead-gen listicles... or you find an Australian lead-gen network and become their "go-to" affiliate... or maybe you just become an absolute boss at running Clickbank vsl's on Outbrain, and get that down perfect...

Those are examples of the kind of stuff I think ends up making serious money on native... you really gotta put in the work spying + networking though... there's not a big creativity moat on native since its so easy to make a rough copy of other people's funnels, so spying + networking is HUGE... the best native teams I know actually have a dedicated position JUST for going out and finding new partners/vendors to work with... so make sure you're replicating that in a smaller way as a solo affiliate...

Also running an ongoing follow-along here on STM is super helpful, as high-quality vendors/small aff networks will contact you... you'll get spam messages too but there's also legit awesome private aff networks lurking on here too looking for high-integrity affiliates to work with...

Edit: And when you're testing lots of offers make sure to kill them quickly if they're not working. Usually if somethings going to work you'll know pretty darn quick

@jack_l so for testing natives do you have a set strategy for testing or how do you know when the test has failed or it has succeeded? Like is there some formula you use in order to test?
