Jumbleberry (Carousel) Event Tracking (4)

Jumbleberry (Carousel) Event Tracking

I'm having an incredibly frustrating tracking problem, and I'm posting here in case anyone has a solution or even if someone else can confirm they're having the same problem and it's not just me.

The issue I face, is that for the Jumbleberry (carousel) network, funnel events only get sent around 50-60% of the time. By this I mean the Lead, AddToCart, InitiateCheckout type events. I don't have any such issues with sales, which report just fine.

What happens is that it seems half of the events simply don't get sent, as I have no error messages. I can't find any pattern in terms of OS or any user parameter, e.g. it impacts both iOS and Android equally. It also doesn't appear to be user based at all, as often I'll have one visitor who has multiple funnel events occur, yet some will fire while others don't. The issue is strictly tracking related, as I see all my clicks show up as leads in their dashboard, and I see full event counts in the Insights tab. The problem is getting that information to my trackers and traffic sources.

Things I have tried without success:
- using a single postback for all events vs one per funnel event
- firing events as a postback vs html/js pixel
- tried multiple carousel offers, so it's not just 1 product on their network
- sent my postback to multiple sources, including Voluum, my custom tracker, and even a plain endpoint that's entire purpose was just to log data to try and troubleshoot this. Oddly enough when I ran multiple postbacks at the same time, none of them were fully accurate, yet they often missed different events
- had someone audit my setup, they didn't find any issues. Also, my setup has zero problems with any other network

In most cases, I'd try to work around something like this, but as I'm running on Tiktok, I get much better results optimizing for mid funnel events, so in this case it's a situation of making money or not. Any help greatly appreciated, as this has been driving me crazy and I'm all out of ideas.

If anyone has a solution for this I will pay. This has been driving me absolutely insane and Id rather give someone money than keep banging my head against the wall.

Hey @bc_red,

I'm in the process of setting this up myself - so certainly more of a noob than you - and you may have already tried this...

But did you see this - https://partners.jumbleberry.com/doc...ith-tiktok-ads

It says that JS pixels are not fully compatible with jumbleberry and therefore you should use api +web events? Are you using the api?

Yeah, I have a TikTok marketing API set up, though I send events to it via postback, and it works perfectly with everything other than Jumbleberry. Using the JS TikTok integration as they list there is the last thing I have to try, but I haven't done it yet as it would require some extra coding on my end and I'm a little frustrated since there's no logical reason that would work and regular postbacks/pixels wouldn't. I may have to though.
