google ads campaign not start
Hi,
I have a video ads campaign on google (youtube).
It took 7 days in learning bid strategy and after it took 3 days till now and do not start. I also set up target CPA at 200$ and nothing happened.
What should I do? thanks!

Give us more information about geo, campaign, offer type, what you have done... so that experienced members can have a look.
Have you tried another bid strategy?

Anytime a google ads campaign doesn't start for me it's one of 2 reasons ... not approved ad/campaign OR too low bid.
And since you are using CPA bidding, are you sure that you have setup conversion tracking properly? More on that here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/1722054 and here is their help page for CPA bidding in general: https://support.google.com/google-ad.../6268632?hl=en

Hey! Actually it may be just not approved by Google, what type of campaigns you was trying to start?
CPA bid is also low, but it is not a main reason usually.

try duplicating the campaign and see if the new one gets any impressions. sometimes that helps. also try manual bidding or max conversions if you don't have any conversion data in your account yet.
if that doesn't help maybe your account is under manual review which can take up to a week.

True this.
I used this myself sometimes.
Just duplicate with different goals and see what happens.
If the campaigns are white hat don't hesitate to contact support, that's what they are for.
Sometimes you get a lousy support, sometimes you have a good one, a bit of a lottery

Hi,
Thank you for your replies.
It's a YouTube campaign, goal:sales
All the pixels are installed and verified
Targeting topics-weight loss
I started with $30 target CPA and $100 daily budget
Increased up until $150 CPA and $200 budget. Does not get impressions
The ad stayed 7 days in "learning bidding strategy" mode
Conversion value was set to $70 (dynamic), but g support advised to have it changed to $1

As long as the campaign was approved, it's likely a problem with the bid and conversion value.
I havent run CPA campaigns with youtube myself, but when it comes to the standard campaigns to increase views and subscribers for a youtube channel, problems with non-starting or low performing campaign was always a bidding problem.
