I often see different banners on Youtube unrelated to the videos. For example, I often see video game banners when I watch history channel or sports. What are the common banner sizes in this case?

I know that recommended banner size for YouTube right now is 2560 x 1440 pixels, but there are some other variations that can be used as well. These ads are usually being made through Google ads and here you can see as well which are some size requirements so you can follow those rules.

There are some static banners in the mix, but based on the info I have, video ads are more effective.
