What could you really do when the network is not paying?
I've had an invoice issued for all leads in September at the start of October.
It was just above the minimum threshold and all seemed fine as I asked to be paid just to see if everything goes through fine.
It has not been paid until this moment, while I do understand technically, if it's NET30, it's about time now that they should be paying. But I thought we've had an understanding and confirmed numbers and stuff.
Anyway, what could you really do if they just don't pay?
I guess not much.
Well, you have a few options.
First of all, make sure you have waited long enough without causing any drama, just yet. As you mentioned, it might still be within the NET30 period.
When the payout is late, it's always the best to ask the AM first. There could be a delay due to some banking holiday, human error on their behalf etc... this does happen.
Once you are sure they didnt send the payment, try to communicate some more, we all had some late payments already.
Now let's assume they just dont want to pay. Once you are sure the communication isn't going to help, try to politely threaten that you will post about this issue on industry channels... forums, FB groups... in many cases, this helps as the potential damage on their reputation can be severe.
If that doesnt help, start posting on the channels.
If it still doesnt help, you can try to sue as long as they are in a GEO where you can actually touch them.
Now an important thing to add here is, if you have done something fishy and the leads were fraudulent, I wouldn't bother as you won't get paid no matter what.
Something that wasn't mentioned, stop the traffic. You are throwing money away to send more traffic to a network that isn't paying you. If it turns out there was an error, mistake, etc. you can always resume traffic.
Yeah thanks. Traffic stopped a while ago.
It probably won't be coming to any of that, I'm just thinking ahead.
Thanks for the reply.
