Hello!
I would like to know which tools are out there to see how a long vsl is performing?
I know that wistia is quite good in seeing when users are clicking away, how engaged they are etc.
Which other tools come to your mind?
Google tag manager can also be used to track video views, and length of time watched:

Hope that helps!

P.S. Rinse and repeat ( the results the tools spits out). Like you can plug in the results again one after one to find even more!
Thank you guys!
I am wondering how the big vendors are monitoring the different elements within an vsl. I can imagine they want to see at which point people drop off, especially
when the wsl is about an hour like the massive ones on clickbank.
Vidalytics is what I use - pretty expensive but worth it to see drop off points, and where conversions happen. I recommend it. It also speeds up your pages significantly.
ok vidalytics is not an option because of the issue with the bandwith.
Does anyone know which video platform big vendors on Clickbank use?
I think I saw some vendors use youtube but there was no possibility to do anything except for pause/continue and adjusting the volume.
Does anyone know if that is a specific premium option youtube offers for VSLs?
Is anyone using vimeo?
Clarity, Microsoft's version of analytics is what a few big dogs are using.
Any option that is free and no bandwith extra charge?
I looked into using youtube and while it is possible to remove the player controls they could still look at my channel or use the "watch later" or "send" option which isn't good. Plus ads intervene so it must be some special yt plugin that I saw this one vendor use.
I was looking at the vidalytics data and quite honestly couldn't work with it as I didnt understand how to read the info graphs vidalytics is showing. Was running decent amount of traffic for a few days but the charge is wild.
Years ago I was using wisita for a video sales letter in the fb agency business model and there I could intuitively read the data and work with it.
Update: There seems to be a customized script that makes it possible to use youtube in the desired way. If anyone has it please let me know.
