How to run Pay Per Call offers on Native?

What shud be the strategy/approach towards promoting pay per call offer on natives?

Pay per call campaign don't have offer page(they just have landing pages with phone numbers written on it) so, one cannot optimize campaign based on LP CTR.
And then, without LP ctr, if payout of the offer is $28, then one has to spend $28 on every single widget, so, if i were to test everything, the cost will run in millions and the whole thing won't make any sense.

But my manager was insisting that many people are earning top dollars promoting Pay per call offers on natives, how are they doing it? Are they running pure Whitelist campaigns? Running ads only on proven widgets?

I've never run one but James Van Elswyck talked about it in one of his courses... and I've seen folks do it with various verticals as well...

Basically you're running an advertorial and including both links to a 'regular' version of the offer, AND adding a "Call Now!" call-to-action with the phone number on the advertorial as well... so some of the people end up calling, and some fill out the traditional lead-form.

Or, I suppose you could do the same thing even if you only had a pay-per-call offer... but you're right, you wouldn't really be able to optimize via LP ctr... unless you set up a two-page funnel and counted the clicks to the second page as the lp ctr...

You could also include a blurb for a pay per call offer on a listicle too.

As far as the widgets... I'd presume the folks your rep are referencing are running on Taboola/Outbrain/Gemini where you don't really need to block widgets that much... or they're these big outfits like Media Forge that have insane data on every Revcontent widget imaginable and can do exactly what you said and just run to the proven ones

But yeah if you try one of them let me know, I've always wondered how pay per call would go on native...

Oops, Media Force*, not Forge.. mispelled it...

They're the people that own Comparisons.org... if you look at Adplexity they're listed as an affiliate network so you can see everything they're running, although I don't believe they're actually a network I think they're just an agency.

Based out of Israel if I understand right.
