Follow along a frustrating but exciting journey

Hi folks, I know I flood this forum with questions so I decided to start this thread hoping that I will not get stuck again. The motivation is high and the frustration is even higher.

Following the 1$ tutorial I did all what is written there (at least I think).

Offer: Mobipium smartlink as by tutorial
Budget spent by now: 36$
Profit: 0$
Revenue: $18,056

I was thinking that the problem is the offer so I tried to run few single offers both on PopAds and Propeller but it was just a very frustrating experience, mostly 100% negative roi. No results at all. So I decided back to the 1$ tutorial.

I asked the AM for the top Geos. He gave me a list ordered by eCMP so I had hard time to figure out how those data work. Eventually I put into the traffic source (PopAds) the 20 most promising and run the campaign 3$ for round.

I ended up in finding "winning geos" which were Iran and Mexico.
At the End Iran was the only one with some positive ROI by Placements.

I started to cut placements. I ended up in maxing out the cut allowed by PopAds. LOL.

Somehow even if Iran was the right geo, it was paying very little.
Screenshot before cutting some Geos:

I did some research and saw that South Africa, Canada and France were interesting Geos. Than I added few which were performing not that bad in the previous rounds and I'm starting again form zero.

Now I'm running the new round. I will update this post asap.

THis is the result:

What u suggest to cut?

p.s. Should I continue to post here (editing the post) or should I create new answers inside this thread?

As I already said in your previous thread, move on to "real" campaigns with single offers as soon as you feel ready for it.

Regarding the campaigns above, check the ROI, the payout for the offer and the available volume for your targeting.

Cut non converting placements and continue testing the geos with "good" ROI that have enough volume left to be worth it after cutting placements.

Rinse and repeat

@twinaxe has given you one alternative. Here's another:

Keeping running the mobipium offer if you like, but read the rest of the 40-day tutorial to learn how to optimize the campaign, and how to test bids.

Then you can do all kinds of experimentation on the mobipium offer. You probably won't make money doing this, but you can stand to learn a lot on - because the payouts are so low, you can collect a lot of data using a low budget.

Nothing wrong with either approach. You can even do both if you like.

I ended up in maxing out the cut allowed by PopAds.
Just want to make sure I'm not misunderstanding: What are you referring to here exactly?

Seriously, when you have to exclude that many placements then your campaign is clearly not a winner.

When you have to cut too many placements and your campaign is still not running on profit move on, it's simply not worth it.

Don't get used to such excessive blacklisting, on good campaigns it's not needed anyway.

Yeah, I was just hoping to have a minimum profit from the 1$ tutorial. Seems like it's burnt.
Yeah I'm moving on. Do u suggest the 40days or the Push one? Seems like Push is more promising.

40 days, there you have less elements to take care of.
