Taboola learning limited campaign issue

Hey dear STM community,

I have started two new US camps on TB two days ago,
I have set daily budget of 150$ for desk and 120$ for Mobile while the monthly limit its about dailyX30 and the bids is quite competitive .65 and .35 , and for some reason I got "learning limited" status for the desk camp,

What could be the reason and how can i fix it?

your help would be much appreciated!

Interesting... I honestly hardly ever look at that 'Leanring Period' stuff, although I probably should... I just gauge it by how much it is spending relative to the overall monthly budget and what the cpc's are relative to the bid...

How much is it spending and what is the cpc and ctr?

If you have the bid at .65 but the ctr is super low that could still cause problems...

Could also maybe have something to do with how many ads there are...

But yeah, if its not spending what it should be or if your cpc's are substantially higher than your bid, I would definitely raise the bid... then hopefully find higher ctr ads and lower it back down over time...

If its spending just fine and at below 65 I'd just let it keep running and see what happens...

Hey @jack_l , thanks for your comment man!

So it's spending the whole daily budget with no problems..however, the CTR is quite low (CTR - 0.12 vCTR-0.23)
it has 12 ads in total.
would you just let it keep running or maybe cut the worst ads?

Yeah... I think so... honestly in the US I beleive Taboola has such a range of pub types that you can probably get traffic even at super low bids.. so the real trick is finding the 'sweet spot' where you're getting the RIGHT kind of traffic and making money...

You could try duplicating or creating a couple parallel campaigns at different bid points or different types of ads and just see what happens... just do like $20/day to start on each of them and treat it as an experiment... chances are one may 'pop' and you'll know that's the right bid range for your type of campaign

@jabot might have some good insights too... he's been doing way more US stuff than me so probably has a better idea idea of the cpc's and cpm's and all that

thanks a lot @jack_l

Yeah, duplicating sounds like a good idea in order to examine it,
The funny thing here that the camp has already converted a few times and even make a bit profit.. so I don't want to completely gave up on it.
maybe do you have any idea? @jaybot

i have experienced that diff sources have different learning periods for the algo serv. there may be an imp or $ threshold before your score is locked in or learned
