Getting started with WH Lead Generation?

Can someone direct me to a good/detailed guide on how to get started with WH lead gen offers?

Just for context. I am an experienced media buyer, business owner and affiliate. However, I have never done lead gen stuff before.

Core questions:

1) Start as an affiliate or start working with clients directly to test their offers? (I have a sales team who can set up the latter)

2) Would you suggest focusing on one area and making it work before expanding (ie. insurance or loans)

3) What are the top networks to focus on for offers? I understand that I will be testing many offers from many places... for now, im trying to assess the lay of the land.

4) We are expert at FB and IG traffic. Do people do lead gen with other sources? (P.S. - Im not interested in native right now).

Thanks all

Vinn

P.S @iAmAttila - I have seen many of your posts talking about lead gen. Would love your views on this good sir.

Hey my man - I started responding to this the other day but then I had to restart my computer and forgot about it!

-As far as guides... I'd say obviously all the follow-alongs and case studies here on STM... there's also some great James van Elswyck courses about native ads that have lots of great lead-gen info also very applicable to facebook. He's also got a course about building a digital marketing/lead-gen business which I got a lot out of.

There's also a great podcast on YouTube called '7 Figure Entrepreneur Podcast' with these two facebook lead-gen affiliates out of Canada... they are absolutely killing it doing like 6 figures a day apparently... and the one dude (Gabe I think(?)) has a course about WH lead-gen on facebook...

In general though I don't think WH lead gen is that different than any other vertical if you're doing the front of funnel stuff... so biggest thing is just mastering the traffic source obviously...

- Re: 1 , I don't think it matters... if you work with a vendor directly but use their offer pages it will be the same anyway... But yeah if you're considering building your own offer pages then there's lots of compliance/legal stuff you'll also have to take into account, but should be super easy to get started otherwise.

- Re: 2 , I would suggest trying a bunch at first to better get a 30,000 foot view, and see what you like.

- Re: 3, I think the best 'big' affiliate network for lead-gen is Clickbooth... they're great... and then there's lots of small little agencies that will just run with a few select affiliates they trust, so as you get more and more into the space I would try to develop relationships with folks like that, and/or run direct with vendors.

- Re: 4, yeah I think people do WH lead-gen on nearly every traffic source... search, Google Display, YouTube, TikTok, native, push, facebook, etc.

So yeah, if you're already a master of FB and IG traffic you're extremely well-positioned to take advantage of that and do lead-gen on there! You could also find folks who are doing well with lead-gen on other sources (native, Tiktok, etc) who don't have a presence on facebook and see about partnering with them. I've seen a lot of folks running native lead-gen advertorials on YouTube via those non-video ads that appear in the recommended video results, and have also seen a lot of people recycling TIkTok ads for solar/car insurance/etc on YouTube as video ads, so am guessing the same thing is taking place with facebook.

Would love to hear how it goes for you!

A couple of networks that are worth checking out:

https://leadnomics.com/ has good offers for financial lead gen.

https://www.fluentco.com/ has good offers for sweepstakes lead gen.

In terms of storing the leads that were generated and building a list. Is there any recommendation on software for lead management?

Depends on what kinds of features you need.

Leadspedia must be one of the best known, but the service isn't cheap, and may be overkill if you don't need all the bells and whistles.

Here are some alternatives that may be helpful to check out: https://www.g2.com/products/leadsped...s/alternatives

All sorted now, deleted all of their spam and they will be notified. They posted this when no mod was online

Yes I'm in contact with Converting Team to make sure this doesn't happen again. All vendors get one chance - we have a "2 strikes and you're out" policy.

Thanks for helping to keep our forums clean @larsometer!
