Sudden Drop In Conversions Without Any Campaign Changes ðŸ˜
I running an ecom offer on Google ads for last 30 days. My campaign suddenly dropped 2-3 a day converison to 0. I did not change anything in the account. Tracking has been tested, landing pages are optimized. Ad is getting clicks, impressions, high CTR, No loss of Impression Share. All the metrics look normal. Visitors are coming to the page but not purchasing.
Has anyone faced a similar issue. I need help figuring out if I have missed anything.
Thank you.

Going from 2-3 to 0 conversion can be just a natural fluke and the performance can return back to "normal" within a day or two. It would be a different situation if it dropped from let's say 20 to 0.
But there can be some problem too, for sure. Since you say that there have been no changes on the traffic side, all the metrics are the same and the funnel works properly... I would blame it on the offer. Have you checked with the advertiser or the affiliate network? They might be experiencing some billing problems, maybe a call center wasn't operating properly etc... I would starts there.

Thank you so much for sharing useful insights. I can see in the reports that few visitors clicked on 'Add To Cart' but no one went further like 'Initiated Checkout' or added 'Shipping Information'. So billing and call center issues are ruled out. Maybe its a natural fluke as you mentioned above. I will keep campaign active for few more days and see if it returns back to normal. Thank you.

So whats new with this? Did the performance return to normal? If not, we can try to think about other possible issues.

Sorry I forgot to update. It was a natural fluke as you mentioned. After 4 consecutive days, conversions went back to normal.

Great, glad to hear that the "problem" solved itself

My 2 cents. Look also for festivities in your Geo or other social events which can affect affect sales. If you feel like, can you share with us the kind of offer you are promoting? Just curious.

Thank you for the useful tip. I'll totally take a look. I am promoting an ecom offer from giddyup.
