Having hard time understand trackers

Folks I feel dumb. Seriously.
I can't understand how to setup a tracker. I do it following step by step tutorials but still I feel like it's an math exam.

Jeez. Was this the same for you when you were starting?

Yes in the beginning it can be a bit overwhelming.

But seriously... contact the support of your tracker. You are not the first person having starting problems and they can probably help you better than you are aware of.

And if the tracker itself is overwhelming you... try other product. Usually they come with a 30 day test period.

You're not alone at all in that regard man...

I had tons of trouble starting out too...

I could barley figure it out at all... I'm helping a buddy of mine get started on native right now and he's literally created top 5 Clickbank products and can still barely figure the tracking out either... so even if you're super intelligent tracking can still be a real pain.. I still have to email Thrive almost every time I get going with a new vendor or traffic source because otherwise I have no idea how to set everything up with them...

But yeah... if you let us know what tracker it is and what traffic sources you're trying to use it on I'm sure some folks with firsthand experience can help point you in the right direction

Voluum released a nice course recently, where they offcourse showcase their tracker, but that will give you a nice perspective
https://Voluum.com/academy/

@jaybot also did several videos based on the Binom tracker. He may recommend one.

And finally, this article about postback will also help, because it can be quite complex for newbies:

I'd suggest to check out the following guide from Caurmen:

https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...FPro-or-CPVLab

Although old threads, these are pure gold to get to the right direction. Just focus on the process instead of the products.

Here's my explanation:

It took me a while to understand tracking as well, when I first started. It's not easy to wrap one's head around.

But once you do, the principle is the same - it's just the format that's different.
