Interesting or am I missing something?
Hi,
As a newbie am currently following the 40 days tutorial (day 18) of @vortex .
But next to this course looking around for interesting stuff.
And come along this site (can't really remember how I got there) https://shopenzer.com/
This is a webshop with al kind of gadgets and nice things to buy.
The site has a full affiliate system and also marketing tools. Many of the products have a video (short version of 6 seconds) with some music on. Ideal format for TikTok!
The commission is 10%, so on a product of € 20 there is a nice € 2. (min. payout 20 $)
Like I was reading about the low CPM on TikTok, I was wondering if this is an interesting site do a test. I uploaded € 50 on TikTok so I am eager to do an easy first test.
Looks like this Shopenzer is a possible winner, but maybe I am not seeing some pitfalls?
Really interested in some feedback (if there is any).
In case you would like to test this site / these offers yourself, here's the affiliate link

The pitfall is the low 10% commission. Usually, you need to spend way more than $2 to sell a $20 product. There are exceptions of course but you would literally need to reach 10x ROAS in order to make profits with this and that's VERY hard to achieve. Programs with 10% or even lower commissions can work just fine, amazon pays way less than that for example, but this is more suitable for websites that have organic traffic. But for paid traffic campaigns, this is not high enough I'm afraid.
But who knows, maybe you can create some killer video ads and still be able to profit from this... but I doubt it, 10% is simply too low.

Very cool.... great catch man...
Looks like they basically are running a massive dropshipping general store basically...
I've let my Ahrefs subscription lapse or I would check how much organic traffic they're getting vs other channels...
Like @
matuloo said, for paid traffic, typically affiliate commissions in ecom are 1x or even more than 1x the price of a single product, and the affiliate network and the vendor make all their money when people buy bundles (at least that seems to be the way GiddyUp, DFO, etc do it).... however, something like that is probably perfect for doing organic marketing on social media... since they make it so easy...
Could also be a great redirect or back button type thing too...
Very cool

@matuloo
Was going to try this with very cheap traffic like push or TikTok (video available).
I'll give it a go for a low test budget, at least will learn something from it (first time push and TT). ☺️
Thx for the advice

You ARE missing something - and something big.
First of all - as others above have pointed out - the commission is way too small for you to be able to get Tiktok ads to break even. Also, $50 isn't nearly enough for getting any kind of useful data.
Don't even try unless you can allocate more budget AND find an offer that has better profit margins.
Secondly: You can EASILY set up your very own site that works exactly like shopenzer.com. Instead of making a 10% commission you could be making 50% or more.
How?
It's simply a Shopify site that's set up to dropship from Aliexpress. There are a billion and a half (figuratively speaking) of this type of sites on the internet. Dropshipping is still alive and well depending on how you promote.
OK I'm not sure if ALL the products are from Aliexpress, but I've checked a few and found all of them on Aliexpress. You can check more products if you like.
A couple of examples...
This mini bbq grill - they're selling on their site for
2x the price on aliexpress:
https://shopenzer.com/collections/al...ing-meat-tools
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001775327224.html
And this storage unit, they're selling on their site for
4-5x the price on aliexpress:
https://shopenzer.com/collections/al...moisture-proof
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001775327224.html
I would suggest to copy this model and monetize one of two ways (or both if you wish):
1)Set up your own Shopify site and add products from Aliexpress. If you're wanting to run Tiktok traffic, pick products that can be "shown off" in an impressive way. Spy on Tiktok for a few hours and you'll know what types of products I'm talking about. Stuff that makes viewers think, "oooh that looks cool/useful - I want that!"
2)Set up an affiliate program like on the shopenzer site. In Tiktok vids/ads talk about how easy it is to make money online - encourage viewers to run your affiliate program by making videos of your products and sharing them on their Tiktok channel, Facebook, etc. etc. etc.
And of course you can execute one or both of the above 2 options, either by running ads, or organically by building followers, or both.
Moreover: Not every product you test will work out.
But for those that do, you can always set up a separate/dedicated site for that product. This can increase conversion rates in ways that aren't possible on a store-front type site. You could even add upsells/cross-sells/downsells to increase profit margins, collect emails to sell on the backend, etc.
Lastly: I know I'm starting to beat a dead horse here, but PLEASE don't run Tiktok ads to the Shopenzer affiliate program. You'd have better luck putting that money towards a lottery ticket.
(And even assuming you DO find a product that can break even on the 10% commission, you could be making 50%+ simply by setting up your own shopify site!)
Have fun and good luck!
