So, here's the rub. I'm running a business page on facebook which posts regularly prompting people to leave comments requesting information on our services/free guides, with the intention of converting them into customers of our premium facebook group/service. Problem is after about 50 or so replies, using a hotkey and alternating between three versions of a reponse and followed up with a private message, my account gets jailed and I can't respond for hours. I made sure to create three different premade responses specifically to avoid getting jailed, but it's still happening pretty much every day and it's extremely frustrating because I'm not able to reach people who want our free materials. What is the solution here? Is there a way to circumvent the bans, or do I just need to get more people on board responding to requests so that no one gets jailed? This has become a serious issue on days with new posts because they tend to bring more volume than we're able to handle.
Could you not create a "get messages" post where the CTA is to send a message to the page? That way you could funnel everything straight to a Messenger bot, which would have no problems with Facebook and jailing -- as well as being less work for you, far more automated. I presume it would be a much better leadgen funnel than trying to manage dozens of comments/replies within a post?
I can see why FB would soft-stop this kind of activity, its basically comment spam and they would want conversations happening via Messenger, not creating junk content all through the feeds of other people.
