Hey killers,
@vortex asked me to reshare this in it's own thread for visibility.
Going to keep this updated with a massive dump of everything I've learned or heard of in my micro-community.

Got an ad with 3%+ CTR? It's most likely because your running conversion campaign without any previous data and TT is giving you Traffic campaign type traffic quality instead of the right quality, run a Traffic campaign until you get a couple Add To carts or purchases before running conversion.
If you need cost tracking on TikTok for your tracker, use this script and modify it for your specific tracker API

This is currently written for Redtrack, if anyone converts it for FunnelFlux or Binom, please share!
TikTok's eCPM calculation is:

TikTok has an internal document for troubleshooting common problems their rep receives, I forced them to give it to me, will share if you PM me on Skype but not risking a lawsuit posting it publically.
If you have any experience with trading stocks/crypto, it's a very similar system to advertising as it's an unknown relational system. If you're familar with Trailing Stop Losses, think about how useful they'd be for advertising
. PM me for the script if you want to try and implement this.
Ever notice how Youtube shorts are 60%+ reposted TikTok videos? TT specific ads absolutely murder on other traffic sources, amazing opportunties right now.
Once again, the more similar your offer's checkout is to a Shopify checkout, the higher chance of converting. TT doesn't trust 90s style checkouts and you'll suffer trying to make them convert.
Croatia is a beautiful country that you should visit.
I got confirmation from TT reps that they use AI to review all ads, don't listen to lower level reps that they're all manually reviewed, they're not.
There is also an internal account level quality score that is used, if you receive too many disapprovals on an account, almost every single ad will be disapproved regardless of the content, solution is an agency account, PM me to rent one for no upfront cost.
Add a URL parameter to the end of your submitted URLs to force a 'clean' review from the AI, eg. adding "&version=43856" will trick the AI into rescanning your landers instead of auto disapproving.
If you're trying to run a sketchy offer, submit a super clean video ad with the lander, when you get it approved, instantly clone and use your real creatives. Causes AI to seperately analyze the video from lander and improves chances of ad being approved.
All ads are re-reviewed by the AI at exactly 50 clicks. All ads are MANUALLY reviewed somewhere between 200-500 clicks.
'Swipe left to x' is almost always the best CTA text.
If you have a CTR over 2%, your creative is fine, swap out offers and landers until you get it to convert.
Shockingly, clickbank offers do quite well on TT, you'll have a lot of disapprovals though, appeal with agency accounts and they'll be approved.
BizOp offers absolutely slay on TT.
The best offers are quiz landers into super modern/clean checkouts that offer Apple Pay.
I've heard numerous horror stories of Auto Insurance, I personally feel it's oversaturated and don't recommend it for noobs.
-> Lead gen is amazing for noobs, just not auto ins.
A lot of massive brands are launching on TT lately, end of the month tends to have worse results then beginning of the month.
The best days for Tiktok are Thursday and Sunday, Fri/Sat are moderate and Tues/Wed sucks.
If you're using Cost Cap and it isn't spending, don't force it by raising bid, it's not spending because the AI knows it's not a good time to run.
I'm personally using dayparting on every single campaign, trackers with reporting that breaks down profit by hour of day are useful here.
Leadgen is best to use vertical scaling, ecom is best to use low budget horizontal scaling.
I try to determine the following variables in order when attempting to crack offers:
Gender > Age > Interest > Device

Will add more later if I think of any, good luck guys.
PM me for agency accounts, no upfront costs, I understand people gotta learn somewhere and it's absolutely brutal to use non-agency right now.
Godspeed STM.
Much obliged for the trouble of making a separate post! Absolute gold!
Amy
Love this! Thanks for the info, Scotty!
"BizOp offers absolutely slay on TT" - can anyone recommend some good ones?
Great share. Thanks Scotty!
Would you say that this is similar to how Snapchat Ads work?
Thanks for sharing this! Mind elaborating on some of the auto insurance "horror stories"? I run auto on Snap and am looking to diversify traffic onto TikTok too.
