From Flop to the Moon

Hi Everyone

Been doing this affiliate marketing for sometime now and haven't had the most success in making work.(almost 2 years now) I decided it was time to start a follow along thread to see if some of my fellow affialtes could give me some tips on what i might be doing wrong and steer in the right path. I have a mentor that has done a lot to help me succeed but somehow i am still not triumphing which has led me to here and attempt to share my knowledge with other affiliates to see how I may improve. Super affiliates are welcome to post but I want my Covid Affilates to share more of the knowledge as you guys are on the same level as me trying to turn from Rags to Riches!

I run Push, POP, & DOM but this follow along will focus on POP/DOM

Traffic Source: PropellerAds, Zeropark
Bids: $0.001 CPM
POP/DOM
Mobile
3g Only
Casino Offer

Tracker: Binom
GEO: LATAM
Payout: 4.40

2 LP so far with a back button installed. Using Cloudfalre to help my LP load faster. Using an Image optimizer to reduce the image size.

So far i have been running a campaign for a few days now and have some leads and data to show my progress.

My Question here is what is a decent LP CTR? Are there any good sources for that a great for LATAM? I plan on launching Adcash/Popads next. Does everyone have success with IOS? Most people I ask when it comes to POP they always mention IOS is great but I never seem to have success on my own.

Any other tips that can help me on LP for better analysis?

My Question here is what is a decent LP CTR?
Short answer: A decent CTR is a CTR that's high enough to be profitable

Longer answer: Unluckily there is nothing like THAT CTR.

It depends on the geo, vertical, traffictype, landing page and much more.

For example you're running Pop and Domain traffic, even there you can have different CTRs.

It also happens that LPs with low CTR convert better and generate more profit than LPs with higher CTR in the same campaign.

CTR is only one factor that just by itself doesn't tell much about a campaigns potential without knowing the other metrics.

In the end the CTR just has to be high enough that the campaign could be profitable.

Example:

You pay $1 CPM, your payout is $1 and your LP has 10% CTR.
For each 1k visits you would get 100 clicks to the offer and your offer would need 1% CR for the campaign to break even.

Now let's say you pay $1 CPM, your payout is $1 and your LP has only 0.1% CTR.
Then for each 1k visits you would get only 1 click to the offer and your offer would need 100% CR for the campaign to break even.
That wouldn't be realistic.

Does everyone have success with IOS?
To be honest, I target iOS in maybe 5%-10% of my campaigns.

About casino on Pops, be prepared to get paused from the offer because of quality issues.

Thanks for the tips twinaxe

So far its been almost a week and the campaign seems to be doing well. My ROI is at 11 percent

I made a variations of one LP that seem to win between the 2 I initially made and seem to be making great progress so far.

I figured that only targeting cellular traffic was not ideal as some campaigns did not perform well at all.

I made one Desktop campaign as I notice that I couldn't get enough traffic in mobile. I plan on creating some more Desktop campaigns soon. PopAds and Zeropark didn't seem to give me any conversions. Might have to try Adsterra next to see if I get more conversions.

Good stuff man! Excited for your FA!

11% ROI a week in is stellar!

Many people tend to ignore desktop traffic and focus on mobile, but to me, desktop is still the better performing one and it has been like that for years. If only there was more volume available.

Great going btw, not many people see positive ROI that early, congrats!

Sounds good, let´s to keep it at this level and better

What makes you thinking that it seems to win?

Especially in the beginning it can sometimes help to use a statstical significancer calculator to see what performs better, THIS ONE is pretty good.

In samples you enter the visits for each LP, conversions go to conversions.

I figured that only targeting cellular traffic was not ideal as some campaigns did not perform well at all.
Happens, you can also have the opposite situation where 3G traffic outperforms WiFi traffic.

I made one Desktop campaign as I notice that I couldn't get enough traffic in mobile. I plan on creating some more Desktop campaigns soon. PopAds and Zeropark didn't seem to give me any conversions. Might have to try Adsterra next to see if I get more conversions.
What sources are you using right now?

Did you try to scale on the original source first?

Btw, would be great when you could insert your images properly in the posts.

In my signature is an easy tutorial for it

I will use the a/b testing in the future to determine my LP's to see which performs better before moving on.
I did not try to scale the original, i only optimize the campaign and tested other sources to see if it was as successful as my first few.
i use propellerads, and zeropark, and popads for POP/Redirect

Overall I made 50% ROI before the offer ended

So after 2 weeks the offer died and is no longer running so i go back to testing offers again.

Currently I started Testing new offers now in a Tier 1 GEO which is a bit more expensive but that was all my AM had. i am testing 3 offers at the moment. 2 in the same geo.
I have used Clickdealer and Big Bang Ads in the past but have not had luck with there Casino offers. I feel they are better for Sweeps which i use to run in the past but I now i am 100% casino,
Many AM sources are Re-brokering offers which i will not state who since they are on these forums lurking in the shadows haha

If there are any Casino Affiliates that would love to share some AM services that have proven offers please reach out to me via PM

Here is my first day result on one offer so far which were not great almost 2 days and i am -100% already.
I cannot split test the 2 offers in the same geo only because each one gives a different prize so i have to adjust my LP based on the offer. I will be launching the 2nd offer sometime later today. and the 3rd once there day starts

Before the offer ended or before you got paused from the offer?

I just ask because in your first post you said it´s a casino offer, when you run pop or push traffic it happens very often that you get booted from casino CPL because of too low quality.

As I said before, even when you have good offers it will be a neverending jumping from one offer to the next.

Probably at one point your network will tell to better stop running these offers when you get paused again and again.

This is sweeps leadgen?

If yes, what´s the payout, how many offers and LPs are in the campaigns?

no the Offer ended, I received a email notification from the AM stating it would be paused and no longer be available after this day/time.

Very true but I just want more AM to work with. Some offers work for some people and others do not, yes I get that. its the luck of the user!

All my offers are Casino no sweeps.
Payout was 7.60 for all 3 offers that I just started testing.

Offer "A" was paused for now but will be relaunched soon.
I launched the offer "B" but by the next day i notice the offer was paused before i even started. My AM said it would be ok but unfortunately that was not true. I spent 40 dollars on a dead offer. I will be launching the offer "C" today.

That´s true, nonetheless there are some combinations that work better and some that don´t work good.

For example there´s also a huge difference between works for affiliates and works for the advertiser.

And casino leadgens are such an example.

It can work very good for affiliates on pop and push traffic, easy conversions and good payouts.

On the other hand it mostly won´t work for the advertiser because he won´t make much money from such users.

That´s why you will get paused by most of the offers after some time.
