I used to attend TES in the pre-covid times, maybe I should go again in the future.

Well it is close to Prague from Slovakia, maybe worth reconsidering, I believe there are still some free tickets for affs left!

Yup, it's just about 3.5 hours from my place by car, but I decided not to go this year. But I will probably go the next one, once the situation stabilizes some more so there are no restrictions on what we can do. I also have some family in Prague so it's always partially a family trip for me Prague is an amazing city and I always enjoy it a lot.
