What Daily Actions Are You Making On Your Campaigns?

What daily actions are you performing on your campaigns?
Not specific to native (although Native is the most interesting atm)

This is a great question

Daily routine seems to be the key...

-Enter P&L for each campaign into excel
-Check ads to make sure none are underperforming or to ad new ones if appropriate
-(In some cases depending on traffic source) Check pubs to see if any need blocked

Naturally, you launch, then test, then analyze and ultimately scale. Rinse, lather, repeat

Hey man, I agree -

For me personally, I check my stats and go through each campaign and sub-campaign and see if I can optimize anything.
I also have periods where I'm starting new campaigns so I'm on Spy tools and preparing the creatives material (and planning bidding, trying to get a "picture" of how the competition is looking).
Are you running P&L including for each sub-campaign separately?
Do you find it working to be adding new creatives on to existing campaigns?
Why depending on the traffic source you're checking pubs?

I really wish more people would comment on this topic @everyone

Maybe @ScottyG or @cassshy can chime in on their daily TikTok routine

But yeah... re: the above...

-I will sometimes combine the sub-campaigns together on the daily P&L... really just depends... if its a big campaign and I'm just constantly duplicating sub-campaigns I'll usually just record it all as one, but if its more of a long-term thing where I have two or three versions that I plan on continuing to run for a long time, I'll track them separately.
-On native at least I'm almost always adding new creatives... usually once a week per campaign I add 5-6... depends how 'sensitive' the campaign is and how much its performance is tied to a specific ad (sometimes there's only one ad that works and no matter what I do I can't find any other profitable ads, so am more careful in that situation, and if I add 5-6 ads usually 2-3 of them are almost identical copies of the winning one just slightly different). On something like Search Arbitrage I might add 15 new ads because it only costs a couple dollars per ad in testing to see if they'll work...
-On Taboola I try not to even look at the pubs... I know others do it differently and definitely not saying my strategy is right, but I just feel like any time I mess with pubs on Taboola the algo gods turn me into Job...

But yeah, basically I have one giant Excel file for each year, with one tab for overall daily/monthly P&L, one tab for each month where I do each individual campaign's daily P&L, one tab where we do all the bookkeeping for taxes/etc, and one tab where we keep track of invoices/deposits/etc.

Without that Excel file I'd be absolutely lost man It IS the business for all intents and purposes

For Native:

Check stats.

Cry.

Pretend to make adjustments to bids, creatives, landers.

Repeat.

On a good day, I check stats way less often. Like once every 1-2 hours.

On a bad day, I check stats every 5 minutes and just get angry at the world.

For Pops/Push:

Check stats.

Shrug.

Do nothing as long as it's not losing money.

Repeat.

For Tiktok:

Check stats.

Question my existence.

Fuck around on Tiktok to see what other people are doing.

Continue to question my existence.

Upload more shit and pray someone actually clicks on something.

Repeat.

Lol made me literally lul

I guess the whole point of internet marketing is to eventually get it where everything is like Push for you, and that's when you know you've succeeded

Cracked offers:

Monitor yesterday's ad group level stats to see what was working well, same for ad level.

Based on the offer and day of the week, adjust budgets and bids by anywhere from -40% to +60% across the board.
(ECom is changed daily, Leadgen tends to be changed every 3~ days)

Activate my robot friend that watches the ad groups for me and move on to the next offer.

Look up new actors to hire, send em videos to copy.

Throw up whatever new videos they sent me.

New Offers:

Ramble incoherent nonsense into my iPhone camera and make 5x videos every day.

Throw em into ad group's to test em.

That's awesome man. I wonder why Ecom is changed daily while Leadgen less often?

Leadgen is more stable, ecom tends to flucuate a lot.
