Hey you all!
First wanted to say – Fuc*ing love this forum and the info you, super affiliates, provide here
Helped me a lot! when I just started my journey.
So, thanks a lot!
I’m writing this thread looking for advice/tips/info about a new project that we are working on.
We are building an app that’s sport related (mainly football) and need your xp with some things.
As you may understand (or not) there will be in-content-ads of big gambling affiliate programs.
And the problem is, I fuc*ing have no clue about regulation with this niche.
(I have never promoted these kinda offers, I come from a completely different niche)
So what I’m asking is how do the app stores get these kind of apps, anyone knows?
Is it even allowed to upload an app like this to App Store and Google Play?
How do I cover my ass in term of regulation and legally?
If anyone here has a connection to a good lawyer / legal services who specializes in the field, I would love to contact him/them.
Besides, I think we did a good job developing the app and all its features, but I still think our UX is not the best, do you have any recommendations for a freelancer / agency that specializes in UX / UI and they are not butchers (in terms of costs).
We have found this agency on upwork but they did horrible job, totally waste of money.
Thanks in advance!!
PS
This is our first app =] , so if you guys have any recommendations, tips, suggests that can help us we would more than appreciate it!
I am talking about MARKETING
We gonna focus on ASO but I'm thinking of putting the app into affiliate programs with CPI model.
Anyone tried it? What do you think about it? Would be happy to chat!

For Google, you can if you strictly play by their rules.
See "Ads for Gambling or Real-Money Games, Contests, and Tournaments within Play-distributed Apps" section of their policy :

Apple must have a similar section in their policy.
This will require some deeper research indeed. The laws are different in every country and in some GEOs you can get in trouble even when you're just promoting an unlicensed gambling platform.
We had this situation in my country (Slovakia) when the govt banned unlicensed poker platforms. Once the law was in effect, several poker bloggers got into trouble just for running ADs for these poker platforms, even the registrar who they registered domains through got some kind of fine. But, these were all local residents or companies, so I'm not sure what they could do in case of a foreign entity.
As jeremie mentioned above, both google and apple have rules for gambling apps that they must follow in order to get listed. He already dropped the link for google. Here is something from apple: https://developer.apple.com/app-stor...ew/guidelines/ (search for gambling).
I also know that apple requires the gambling apps to be a NATIVE one in order to be considered.
But one more thing, the strictest regulations are for "real money" apps, is that what you developed? Or is it a free app that presents football related info and you just plan to monetize it with gambling ads? I'm pretty sure that the regulations are less strict if that's the case.
Hi, if you want to upload a gambling app to the store, you need to use a high-quality cloaking service, with the description only remotely ressembling one belonging to a casino. We'll soon roll out a detailed article "how to prolong the lifespan of your apps", so stay tuned, or else you'll miss it
Thanks guys definitely look into these policies
