Local Lead Gen FB Disapproval? wtf?
So I wanted to test out Facebook PPC to generate leads for my mom's Realtor site. My first ad went through perfectly. It was simply an image of a home with ad copy encouraging viewers to browse for real estate listings in the area through her site.
Then I thought of using P202 to track my clicks, so I changed to a P202 tracking URL for the approved ad and a new one. Both of these ads were disapproved.
"The content of your ad does not adequately reflect the product or service advertised."
Is this because I changed to a P202 URL? Resubmitting these ads without that. On a side note, a test dating ad of mine was disapproved as well for the same "content" reason.

Those ad denial reasons are retarted don't look into them that much.
Don't submit your "legit" ads at the same time ad dating. I'd say try the legit again, using 202 shouldn't affect your approval rates.
Maybe seperate the two accounts with 2 different CC and diff email aliases. Actually I would advice to do that regardless that way if one of your accounts get banned you have a fallback. Then run risky things on 1 of the accounts and things that are more legit on the other.

Good call. Yeah, I was already thinking of splitting up the accounts anyway as my mom would be paying for her ads and I'd be paying for mine.

as the guy with the hat says......the dis-approvals mean shit.....I was promoting an FB app and I kept getting "you need to have a privacy policy" blah blah blah.....which if you look is a link on every fb app....
They don't really take the time to tell you what they really don't like....but what I will tell you about using any kinda of redirect(tracking, rotator, etc..) is that adding the redirect often slows down load time and I think personally its a factor in approvals....meaning if the pop loads slow and the approver is waiting....they just hit the dis-approve button.....
I once setup up 2 camps one went direct to page the other thru tracking I had 0 dis-approvals when it went direct to site and 10-15% disapprovals when it went thru a tracker.....
same lp, same ads
If you have ftp access you can use a real time tracker like http://getclicky.com and you can set up "actions" with this so you can track a "conversion point" if you want....
it doesn't work so well for doing cpa stuff ....but its pretty dang cool for your own stuff....gives you some pretty awesome data......

Yeah, this is a legit site and all. Fully SEO'd and climbing up the ranks. I've always wanted to get into Getclicky for this site in particular, so I'll give it a shot. Thanks man.
