Need Help - Trying To Find A Internship Or A Job In Media Buying

My name is Jinay Shah. I am a student of James Van Elswyk - Native Ads Masterclass, Tuan Vy - Adult Media Buyers Course, Charles NGO - The lead Engine 2.0, Greg Davis – Greg Davis, and Steve Fantasia FB Ads Domination. I have a Great passion for Media Buying. I have done everything to learn it but right now there is a situation that I don’t have a whole-sum budget for testing new campaigns. Also, I need some more experience in the field of Media Buying. I really need your help in searching for a job in media buying or an internship so, in that manner, I can earn money for doing what I love. Somebody here with a media buying agency can really help me.

I am really skilled in Native Advertising, Adult Advertising, Push Advertising, and Facebook Advertising. I will email the resume for further information. I'm a truly capable and trustworthy individual.

Hoping to get a positive response.

The adult section really isn't the best place for this type of post. I'm moving it to the employment section for more eyeballs. Good luck!

Tip: Start sharing your experiences more by posting more! This will show how much knowledge you have, which will improve your chances at finding work. If you can start a follow-along that would be even better.

You have the motivation, and that's a good start.

That's a big claim, especially if you have just done one course in each category. I don't consider myself "really skilled" yet in any of these categories.

While you are looking for a job, try to think about how you could fund your campaigns by doing freelance gigs on the side for example (look at jobs available on upwork.com), or using free traffic sources (ranking websites on niches / posting relevant content in facebook groups ...). That will help you gain some experience.

Hi Jeremie, thanks for posting.

I will check on upwork.com for doing freelancing that is a good idea.

Thank you.

Are you really good with natives? You want an experience in media buying?
I am new to Natives, i have the required budget. So, let us both spend my money together. In return, you'll get to learn something and i'll get to a partner to work with. This way, we both gain.

Indeed! These courses promise you the world and since you've spent $1000s on each of them you start valuing them. If the same information (or even better!) is consumed from a youtube or a $5 course, one would surely ignore them. Ironically, the stats say that only 10 percent of those who buy cheap courses actually complete it. But when one has spent more to the tune of $1000s you start valuing it and the stats of completion is slightly higher. Maybe 20 to 40 percent depending on how expensive the course is!
I was watching one of Jeff Walker's videos and he says he puts out his most valuable contents out for free and prices his courses at $2000, so people get curious and buy them. But again people have different marketing strategies and use a trip wire ( cheap product) to sell high ticket items. Coming to the point - I am no exception and came here as one of the $1000 courses I bought suggested to join stm. But now I personally find the contents there pretty crappy. Not that all $1000 courses are crappy, but that one was! And I valued it then!! Haven't opened it for at least 1.5 years and happy I haven't but sad for being naive and wasting money.

I would say that every course or guide has some value, unless it's something really crappy. The question is, whether you're in a position for the course to be valuable for YOU personally.

When starting out, even a very basic course that would teach you the most basic stuff would be valuable. Once you master the basics, there is no value in such a course for you anymore.

On the other hand, going with some super advanced and complex course at the very beginning might turn out absolutely useless, as you would likely not understand what it is about.

Many courses are very pricey and we could debate whether their value really justifies the price, but that's the same with many other areas of life or business.

So what am I trying to say with this? I wouldn't say courses don't bring any or very low value, there is something you can learn from most of them it's just that the price/value is better in some cases

Indeed, people tend to link price and value, and therefore often neglect "free" content. I think as online marketers we are even more skeptical because we have seen too many scams online! However, when you think about free content, it's often not completely free! After all, you have to watch a commercial before you get access to a Youtube video! The same goes for our Affiliate Academy! The courses are free to use but of course we do benefit if our customers rely less on our support when setting up campaigns and achieve better results.

What I'm saying is that "free" content doesn't mean it has to be bad, and expensive content doesn't necessarily provide value!

You have a point, however saving some money is also a great motivation I think 😏
