Ideal price points?
Hi,
What's a good product price range that works well for native ads?
I heard someone saying anywhere from $20-$200 on a webinar, another one recommended at least $80 payout(not sure what the product price would be) in a native ads course...
The course instructor said anything under $80 payout, $1 EPC is harder to scale... Also I'm wondering how that'd vary depending on target countries?
Can native ads experts here please advise?
Many Thanks

Just check out what's working man...
Almost all the ecom offers you'll see on native are one of two things:
1) whitehat ecom physical products from GiddyUp and (mostly) DFO. These almost always have the same 1-2 styles and the same checkout option with bundles, prices are usually very similar.
2) Clickbank vsl's or similar vsl's from smaller networks selling supplements/info products. Same thing, very similar price points typically...
As far as the CPA paid to affiliates for such offers, you usually don't see below $40 per sale, and sometimes you see up to $70 or so with DFO/GiddyUp, and sometimes into the $100+ range for vsl offers.
If you're planning on running your own ecom offer on native I would try to copy what GiddyUp and DFO are doing to the letter, as they've both spend tens if not hundreds of millions of dollars perfecting their ecom funnels

My $30 and $12 Lead Gen funnels in US would disagree with that.
But maybe ecom is different.

Like many affiliates, I used to be under the impression that because native traffic is expensive, only higher-payouts would work.
But that was before I actually tried native myself - a friend gave me access to his account where he was making nice profits on financial lead gen offers with as low as <$5 payout.
It all depends on how you control your traffic cost/quality, and of course your CTR and CR.

For ecom, I find that products priced to the consumer (CTC) around $40 tend to do best vs more expensive ones as there is less friction to buy. If that's an affiliate offer hopefully you're getting at least $40 payout if not $45 though minimum for such an offer. If you own the product you're in a really good spot since your AOV is probably twice that running bundle deals and can afford to bid higher.
I don't have a ton of experience with leadgen on native but I know there's a big difference between a short-form and long-form capture, so could definitely see $5 leadgen shortforms working. Have had some $15-25 longform leadgen campaigns do well in past like life insurance.

Yes, they're very similar to GiddyUp and Jumbleberry. I'd say those three networks are the sort of whitehat ecom trifecta. All really great, high-quality affiliate networks in my opinion. Can't speak highly enough of them to be honest.
DFO is also known as 'Verve Direct', fyi, if you have trouble finding them as DFO.
