Send traffic to my own websites? (13)

Send traffic to my own websites?

I have recently launched a Quiz website to monetize with CPI banner.

I have launched a campaign on Facebook and I am trying to move it through networks but it does not give me much result.

Do you recommend sending traffic or what would you do in my situation?

Thanks

Can you please provide more details about the setup, I'm not quite sure I understand.

What do you mean by a CPI banner? Is it like you have a "random" quiz on some site and there is a banner somewhere on the page that you want to make money from?

What do you mean by "I am trying to move it through networks"...

You say this setup didnt give you much results, what is your goal actually?

Maybe share the URL or a screenshot, this way it would be much easier to help you out.

Matej.

Does anyone think of how I can make this project grow?

Thanks!

So basically, you are trying to buy traffic, send the clicks to quiz pages that have ads on them, right?

This is one of several "arbitrage" setups and it could work in case you buy the right type of visits... these people have to be targeted so they are interested in the quizzes you have, which will make them click, which will result in more ad impressions and possible clicks on ads.

I see a lot of similar quizzes being shared on social media and I think that might be the key to success, you need to come up with quizzes that people will be willing to share so they become viral. Basically, you would use paid traffic to get the first visitors and they should share this further. But these days, it's not easy to get the interest of people, you have to put something interesting together.

You could try to explore some niches that are popular and where there are many communities built around the subject. Put together some quizzes for people interested in cooking, workout, travel etc... then target these interests with paid campaigns on FB, for example.

May I ask what the current results are? Like how much did you spend on ads and how much you made back?

Another tip: Model your quizzes after viral quizzes!

Google "viral quizzes" and you'll see lots of good examples. They will give you a very good idea what kinds of quizzes are the most popular.

You don't even need to invent anything new - just change viral quizzes slightly - that would be a great start!

Yet another tip: Design quizzes that tell people about themselves.

Examples:

What Kind of Adult Are You?

What Type of Entrepreneur Are You?

What Disney Character Are You?

More examples: https://www.tryinteract.com/blog/the...izzes-of-2018/

Customize these for niche audiences like @matuloo suggested above, and you should see MUCH better results!

Another suggestion, follow your friends on FB and see what they share. We all have some people in our social networks who fall for this! Based on my feed, housewifes on maternity leave are the best source of intel for this stuff. When the kids go to sleep after lunch, they have an hour or so for themselves and resort to FB to get their dose of viral stuff

What I see working really well is stuff like "what will you look like in 50 years, what kind of person are you, what's your IQ..." so pretty much in line with what Amy shared above. And the most important thing, place social sharing buttons at the end of the quizz so they can share the result with their friends on FB.

First of all, thanks for your recommendations.

I answer all of you and tell you a little about what my intention is.

Before launching the website I have prepared more than 500 quizzes and personality tests. I have on almost all the themes and oriented to any type of niche.

As for the web, I have made it with Wordpress and I have configured it so that an advertising banner appears on the sides, top and bottom of the questions. I have also configured so that every time someone answers a question, the next question is loaded onto another page, so the impressions of the ads are multiplied by the number of questions you ask and the number of impressions of the different banners.

In terms of strategy, so far I haven't done great things. I am releasing the quizzes little by little and I have only done one campaign on Facebook. I customized a campaign directed towards users who liked Star Wars. I invested € 10 and had 15772 impressions with clicks to the quiz from 632 people. So the cost per click was € 0.63.

As for the income results, they are the ones that I have put you above. It did not reach € 9.

Today I want to launch another test of a test of how much money you can earn as a youtuber. I will invest another € 10 to see how the result is.

In addition to this I also have Jarvee configured (RRSS automation application) I want to start sharing in groups. But this will take me a little longer.

My intention is to earn € 1000 a day. I know it may sound crazy, but I have no doubt that I will succeed.

I have planned to launch other phases in which I will create community with gamification, I will add email funnel with CPA ..

A few months ago I decided to stop taking clients and focus on this project.

So I'm going to give my all to get it.

I'll add that most of the quizzes affiliate marketers use for landers, have obvious questions. Like "are you 18+", "man or woman", "what type of woman/man do you like"...

In the quizz you put, you are asking people to think, and that is decreasing your engagement rate because: people may not have the reply and leave, people may not want to think about the question because it is too complicated. On top of that, at the end, I am not sure of what is your flow. Is it "click on the banner to see your score"? In that case, it is incentivized clicks, and restricted / not allowed by most ads network.

If you paid 10€ for 632 clicks, you cost per click is 10/632 = 0.0158, not 0.63

Do I understand correctly? You spent €10 and made €9?

If this is correct, then you're really close!

This is a form of "content arbitrage". Typically, you need to test a TON of content. The more you test, the more winners you will find, and the more profits you will make.

€1000/day does not sound crazy at all. The more content you test, the more you'll know what kinds of content people like and don't like, and the more winners you'll create.

Best of luck on reaching that goal in the near future!

You are right, I did not do the calculation correctly, these days I am doing new tests to see how the result is.

I have added test of "when can you win with Youtube" and "what breed of dog are you"

Thanks!

I am sure that the key to achieving my goal is to publish a lot of content.

But I also have to have very well controlled all the metrics and statistics of the web, in order to know which perhaps have better results and in which to invest more to scale.

Now I am studying how to customize Google Analytics well and make a Dashboard with Google Studio to control all channels and have information to the millimeter.

We continue!

Would it be useful to send traffic from PropellerAds to a quiz or main account? Or better focus only on Facebook Ads

Who are you monetizing with? I mean, what ad network are the banners from? Is it adsense, for example?

Popeller sells basically just POPs and push traffic... you cannot send traffic to a website that has adsense on it, it's against the rules of adsense and you would lose your account.

PUSH traffic is also not of the highest quality so it might translate to having problems with adsense again.

I would stick to native, FB and the other social media, google ads maybe... that's a safe bet.
