Anyone Run Revcontent Push? A Perplexing Issue
I have gotten really good ROI with Revcontent's push widgets, but the traffic fluctuations really confuse me
Without making any changes, I will go from 100k plus impressions to 1600 in a day
There was also this bizarre thing where the traffic would shoot through the roof on Mondays and spend double what it had the previous six days combined (although that has not happened in a while)
I realize there are others that might be/are outbidding me, but these fluctuations just seem too far out of whack

you need a healthy margin to make up for fluctuations... which is a guaranteed, 100% thing that will happen
best to break down the campaign by push zone ID, then have diff bids/budgets per and find your way that way in my experience running on ZP..

There are a few push feeds like this in many geos. Happens on the bigger push networks too (seen it on ZP, Propeller and Advertizer).
It's usually a large news site which sends out a blast of ads once or twice a week.
If you can narrow down those days and just target on those days at an appropriate bid, you can do well.
You can also get raped if the ad has great CTR and bid is too high.
Best to ask the account manager when this happens and what bid won't rape you once a week.

I was spending $100-$150/day on Revcontent push from Jan to May 2021. Then one day all of a sudden, my traffic shot down to 0-1 click/day(god knows why).
And the worst thing is their support staff aren't helpful.
Are you still getting any traffic on Revcontent Push?

Probably should not reveal this (because it will bring more competition LOL) but yes, I get about 1500 clicks a day from it
But my experience is similar to yours. In February, I was getting boatloads of traffic from it, then all of the sudden, nothing. And their reps don't really seem to understand their push inventory
Interestingly enough, there seems to be only one good widget on there, the others are all garbage. If you ran thousands of dollars on their push traffic, you probably know which one I am talking about

Yup only 2 widgets are good(for me) and others are garbage. Probably you're the one who is out bidding me all these days. Lol.
