Hello!

What is the best setting for Attribution Setting: [COLOR=rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.85)]1 day after click or 7 days?

Based on experience, these settings can significantly affect the result for the better, or it is better not to touch them?

Hey there, would be great when you could post more details about what exactly you want to know.

I don´t know what traffic you are talking about nor do I really understand what you are asking for

It would depend on the offer you're promoting.

If you're promoting a product/service that is on the cheap side, and is something that doesn't require thinking before deciding to purchase (e.g. impulse buy), where the vast majority of your visitors are converting within 1 day, then it may be better to choose the 1 day attribution window. This way, the FB algo would show your ad to people that have a tendency to make quick purchase decisions (FB would know based on their past conversion history for other advertiser/products), which can allow FB to optimize the campaign faster.

And if you're promoting a product/service that has a higher price tag, that will require a couple/few days to decide whether or not to purchase, then it may be better to choose the 7 day window. - so that FB would also be showing your ads to people that have a tendency to take up to 7 days to decide whether they want to purchase or not. In this case, if you only choose 1-day attribution, you'd be missing out on these people.

These are only suggestions though. In either case, there are no guarantees one attribution model will outperform the other. Only a split-test would tell for certain.
