Hi,
1. When the # of visitors are relatively small like less than 2k-3k visitors/day, would you recommend targeting all countries within one campaign with some exclusions instead of setting up multiple retargeting campaigns for each county?
When should I start segmenting by countries for retargeting?
Our visitors, customers are pretty global, mainly US EU AU NZ.
Fyi based on my experiences running some Google shopping campaigns, campaigns targeting one specific country, US in most cases seemed to perform better. so wondering what it'd be like with remarketing...
2. Some gurus recommend selecting 'Sales' as a goal, the others recommend without a guidance. If you've made a conclusion after testing, running some ads with statistically relevant amount of data, can you please share which one worked better or if it didn't make a meaningful difference?...
Many thanks!
Based on my experience with google, whenever I select multiple GEOs to be targeted in one campaign, I always get more traffic from the "cheaper" GEOs and I feel like I'm overpaying for those clicks. So if possible, I always try to split the camps by GEO. And with large GEOs such as the US, I'd say it's a must to target it separately.
This is for "initial" campaigns though, I don't have much experience with retargeting.
