hi there, wish you are doing well.

Offer getting saturated, full traffic network, full raising budget, full idiot user who buy the low quality product the second time. how long can we scale?
Questions in title:

it depends on your offer... and its payout, and how many things you are testing..
- how long can we scale?
it depends if the offer is scalable or not.. niche offers aren't as scalable as broad interest offers
what offer is it? more details will go a long way..
When deciding how long to test something, I always look at the results.
Some offers bomb from they one, so there is no meaning it spending time on those.
When an offers shows promise and starts to convert straight away, that's a completely different story since there is so much you can test. In these cases I look at the performance and how good the ROI actually is.
So for example, if I start with an offer that is -50% after the first test, I know it has SOME potential. I will run a few rounds of tests, cut underperforming zones/placements, I test a few creatives, lander etc... if I see dramatic improvements and it's getting close to breakeven, I keep on testing some more. But once I've tested a decent amount of variations and it's still not profitable, I give up.
It's hard to say what's a "decent" amount though, it comes with experience. I simply have to see some progress with every change, if it's not there and whatever AD or LP I test with it, it's pointless to go on.
The best scenario is, when you hit an offer that is close to breakeven after the first round of test, with such offers I'm willing to test for a longer time. Several weeks for sure. Usually, I can make these profitable quite soon and then it's about trying to improve the ROI.
Always keep in mind that there are no miracles in AM. When an offer simply won't convert better after several AD/LP changes and you're still deeply negative, it won't become profitable all over sudden just because you keep on testing. You simply need a better one. Sure, you can double the CVR with a good creative, but if you're starting at -80% that still wont help.
