Hi there, I hope you're well!

I ran through the $1 guide to get my feet wet and the next logical step is the 40 day tutorial.

So far I've been really enjoying the community and how helpful everyone is - it's a nice way to start something! Thanks to Vortex for making this and to everyone else who helps out the newbies.

Also there seems to be a lot of Germans active at the moment, also hallöchen

At the moment I've set up FunnelFlux and run my first campaign:

• Haka Click2sms (direct linked) $0.35 payout
• Propeller
• Turkey all carriers
• $0.70 SmartCPM

No conversions. Offer and geo were recommended by AM. I have my theories but for now I've cloned that campaign and am running 3 different offers that were also in the AM's "top 5". I made a separate funnel routed to 3 different offers; the visual funnel config is pretty sweet and I can see how it would make things easier.

In the first campaign I spent the daily $10 on a single offer to find no conversions, so this time I've picked 3 offers so that the $10 minimum daily spend would split down to around 10x payout for each offer.

Hopefully this one finds a conversion so I know the tracking works

Did you only test carrier traffic or did you test WiFi as well?

I had quite a few click2sms campaigns where WiFi showed better performance than 3g.

Thanks for the tip. I was testing those carriers as that reflected what I was told by my AM, but since then I've learned a lot about what these recommendations mean

Since the last post I've been testing a lot to triangulate promising offers across a range of geos, most recently also testing different bid types. The best camp performance so far has been about -55% ROI so there might optimisation potential - I haven't looked at zones/placements yet.

My next step will be to set up and test some landers! I'll use LanderLab for this and will put some basic landers to work over the next week.

I'd rather front-load all of this learning to get it out of the way but I'll most likely loop back to further testing/optimisation on the direct-linked offers as well.

I don't have a huge amount of time to spend so this probably won't be the most detail-rich followalong of all time. I'm still very much in the learning phase and pretty much every question I've had has been answered on STM somewhere which is incredibly convenient
