I am unable to concentrate.
Youtube feed, Facebook feed, Tiktok feed, come every 5 minutes. How to get them out and back to work effectively?
I know this is the matter of survival. Thank you!

I feel this youtube channel will help you:

Personally I love it!
I started today with this video about Nir Eyal's book - "Hooked."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6Kz8NfntC6A&t=1s
The book is more about designing "addictive products" for customers. But the channel owner seems to have reverse engineered the key concept to help productivity.
Let's watch this video together tomorrow and discuss

There are browser plugins to block specific websites.
Also disable notifications.

You need motivation and inspiration. Start dreaming, believe in yourself, and start working. Understand that you are just wasting time, and it's not helping you. Be aware of yourself, your surroundings, and your actions. Get to know yourself. The more you are present, the more you can control your actions. You don't need plugins, apps, and other stuff if you are aware of yourself and understand how you affect yourself.

Disable notifications. And even for the ones you want to receive, make them silent. So they will show up on your phone, but they won't ding at you and get your attention. Very few notifications are truly that important they should make a notification sound to get your attention.
It is all gamification to get you addicted to the app and your device.
The best thing I ever did was remove Facebook from my Home screen. Now I have to go find it and I get extremely few notifications from it. So I spend a lot less time on Facebook now.

Leechblock is what I use to prevent myself from visiting distracting sites. If you're on Windows you can take the nuclear option. Edit your hosts file to set all the distracting sites to 127.0.0.1, remove administrator privileges on your user account, make the actual admin user password something complex enough you can't remember it, write it down, and put the only copy of it somewhere you can't easily get at.
If it's your mobile device that's the issue, try keeping your phone always on its charger, and put the charger somewhere with nowhere to sit next to it. Basically turn it into a landline that can get texts/apps/internet while you're at home

If you are an iPhone user just turn on sleep mode permanenty w/ incoming calls turned on.
There is also a cool chrome extension called News Feed Eradicator.
It all comes to habits.
We all are information-seeking creatures, be it news, content or anything of interest. Social media platforms are subtly abusing this core mechanics and de-learning it require conscious self-observation and self-correcting.
If you are really having problem with spending too much time on every single platform that is out there I suggest starting small, i.e cut off daily YouTube watch time in half. Then cut it off completly. Next, go with Twitter, etc.
It might also be worthwhile to ask yourself what you will do with all this free time you get after abandoning socials. Without proper motivation this is like tilting at windmills.
There is no magic pill for de-learning this instantly, it requires time and persistence.

Like everyone else said. Disable notifications from pretty much everything.
I'll be a little more harsh.
Tough love.
Delete all of those apps, you don't need them. At all.
You can reinstall them after you're rich.
If you want.
You probably won't want to tho.

While you're at it, you can find some people on twitter to follow who give advice on how to stop getting distracted by apps.
There are some great influencers on TikTok who talk about quitting social media addiction too.
Seriously. You don't need an app or a video to tell you how to stop.
Just stop.
And go get a beer.

Who me? I "quit" smoking 15 years ago. Would still have a smoke now and then (especially with friends during conferences) until around a year ago when my body just completely started rejecting the stuff, to the point where even 1/3 of a cigarette would leave me feeling nauseated for hours. Don't remember having touched one since - going on a year now.
I absolutely agree about the importance of doing things you enjoy! Ideally one should pursue one's passion when it comes to everything in life including career. If a person is constantly having to hold him/herself accountable - it may mean they're either not doing pursuing something they're passionate about, or have some type of blockage (e.g. fear of success / failure / uncertainty). I strive to spend most of my day doing what I enjoy and it works out.
@
jaybot you're the 10th-degree blackbelt in the art of pursuing one's passions - it's real nice to see. Everyone should be so bold and have such courage.

just cut out all distractions, give your phone to a family member of friend to hold on to for a while. eventually you will get so into the concentration habit that it will become painful to procrastinate.

I'll go with a different approach here.
I have horrible ADHD and personally the only thing that works for me is medication such as Vyvanse or Adderall.
Also I spend a good amount of time on social media, I just click on all the ads now and check out competitors funnels and angles instead of funny cat videos.
