Just stumbled across this for the first time: https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/
Apparently its been out for a couple years... its this site that uses AI to create a fake image of a non-existent person every time you hit refresh... absolutely fascinating...
Here's an article about it: https://interestingengineering.com/t...nto-the-future
On the one hand it raises obvious ethical concerns on a macro level, but on the other hand, I kind of prefer the idea of using a fake image of someone for an ad vs a real one, because who knows if the person who put their image on Pixabay or Getty 5 years ago really wants all of us using it for mortgage/life insurance/dating/etc lead-gen right?
Anyway was really interesting so thought I'd share it!
Thanks for the great share!
Been using them for a while now
Quite handy when it comes to using small pics rather than big ones. The eyes alignment kind of 99% of the time tell its a fake image.
I know the site for long time but never thought about using it for ads.
Nice share. thank you
I use those pictures not in my ads yet but in the profile picture of my FB Fan Pages all the time. Haven't had any issues yet.
Would be great if one could get multiple images from the same person from different angles to use the person as a fake persona in a sales funnel.
Yup been using https://thispersondoesnotexist.com/ - great site!
