How to avoid potential Black marks/Bans on FB when affiliating.
So, As you probably already know, Facebook is a powerhouse for ads of various kinds, But when
It comes to affiliate, Things CAN get tricky. Facebook is like a disgruntled karen that wants
everything to be tailored for its needs, Anything less than perfect will cause you harm in the long run so here's a list of things to avoid when affiliating on FB
1.Payment methods. Changing a payment method can actually get land you a ban, If you're changing a payment method contact your FB rep IN ADVANCE in order to avoid
the proof of innocence procedure. Same applies for SOMEONE ELSE'S payment method.
2.Topping balance, Never put huge sums of money off the bat, It doesn't look good.
Instead, Start with decent amounts (Its a marathon not a sprint remember)
3. Stupid but relevant. Miswording any of your LEGAL documents with your account
If you're John on paper And jon on the platform THAT can land you a ban.
Additional things to avoid when Affiliating.
1. Frequent affiliate links = RIP engagement.
You know how most, half or even a third of your posts have links? Gr8, Don't do that.
FB doesn't like you shoving links up user's throats, It discourages readers, Makes em unfollow/unfriend you and subsequently the algorithym tears your engagement apart.
For every 10 posts your put on the air apply your links to 1 or 2 at most.
2. Avoid having the "read more" button if you can when posting.
Even from my experience as a regular user. When i see a product that actually COMPELS me to buy, The moment i see "Read more'' Button i get discouraged. Sorry i'm here for the memes and uninteresting stories, If you're planning to sell something to me you best be sure that i see a clear short description and an engaging picture/video.
Tips from the vault:
1.Emojis. Use emojis for everything. It gives your posts L.I.F.E.
Whenever i see eye catching emojis on someone's posts, It actually feels less empty
And i end up actually reading the post. Some people look for specific details when reading a
post. Lets say you're affiliating a product. With more than a few details. The person reading this might look for the most relevant details. Not only is reading "funER" with emojis, it orients you.
Example:

- Dimensions 170mm X 70mm (top) 25mm (handle) > Dimensions 170mm ↕️ X 70mm ↔️
2. Using links smart.
Facebook isn't very happy with direct links to your affiliates, As such, The best approach
is to have a landing page. Drop a link to your landing page and in your landing page, Drop a link
To the affiliate product of your choice, its a great way to overcome the ZUCC.
