What niche in affiliate marketing is the most successful?

Is there anyone who tested multiple niches? Which one you got success with and you think why? Is it about that the product you promote is easy to seel or you just picked the right way to promote?

casino and adult will always be the most successful markets. also the most competitive (because of the potential). I never tried them properly tho'.

We see a large increase in sales of our affiliate partners. We mainly sell dietary supplements and cosmetics in EU.

In our opinion, the industry is raising very dynamically .

There's going to be success in just about every niche and the reasoning for said success is almost always a mixed bag:

1. Did you start running when it's still fresh and unsaturated?
2. What approach / angle are you using for your ads?
3. What type of traffic are you running?
4. Is the offer / traffic source scalable?
5. Do you have an AM who provides you support when needed?

These are just some of the many factors that play into every successful campaign

I would like to add:
- VAS mobile content offers
- CC submit sweeps
- CPL sweeps
I see that they are still running, even with the some problems with FB\Google\Push.
So, seems like they have good potential anyway.

- Nutra (people always want to be sexy)
- Dating (people always want to get laid)
- Sweeps (people always like to win free stuff)
- Gambling (people always want to win money)

Just wanted to suggest you read our latest "Whats Working In AM Report", but Amy already did that in the post above mine Give it a read, it provides a nice overview of what the affiliate marketing community promotes in any given year.

Good you are describing it from the angle of people's desires and "pains". But if we talk about business area? Something less complicated and with no investmentments?

You can identify a need and create a service that solves provides a solution.

If we think just about affiliate marketing, there are a few examples of successful business setups that I can think of.

Affiliates need creatives and landing pages and there are people/companies providing these. Just one example of how an individual used this to their advantage is here: https://stmforum.com/forum/showthrea...Service-(BETA)

A forum member realized people need this, so he started offering such service and quite a few have used it.

Another forum member turned this into a business... iamattila and his bannerslanders service.

Copywriting, translations.. another good example and you have several businesses offering such services. We all know onehourtranslations, for example. And there are countless freelancers offering this on fiverr or upwork.

These do not require big investments, whoever is good at coding can offer landing page cleaning/creation, native speakers can translate etc...

Then there are areas where an investment is required... take trackers for example. There was a clear need for advanced tracking solutions and companies like Voluum, funnelflux, Binom filled the gap.

Spytools... another great example, marketers need these so there are companies who built them.

It all comes down desires and pains in a way, business people have their own pains and if you can provide a solution, they will buy.

To be honest any niche/vertical can be successful. I think it really depends on various things e.g. how much time and effort you put into it, what angle you take, which traffic sources etc.

Some verticals are seasonal, some are evergreen, some are easier to convert but lower payout and vice versa, some are here to stay but more competitive.

I do think there are a bunch of untapped niches and others that just need a bit of out of the box thinking to make it profitable.

Health and Wellness (weight loss, Skincare, etc). Personal Finance (payday loans, credit, etc)

We agree with you affpayinggao - Personal Finance, specifically payday, installment, and personal loans.

I would say, vortex post the most showing image. affpayinggao and zero parallel, agree with you too. But anyway I think that you can be successful in any niche, but the most important is the way you are running the campaigns and optimise them.

Education niche

A niche of education, custom writing or essay is a popular niche among affiliates from the CIS countries. This niche continues to generate profits for its affiliates even during a global pandemic. As the global trend towards education grows every year, so does the custom writing market. You can monetize your student traffic from US, CA, UK with Edu-Money.

Just one point of clarification: The chart is more of an indication of how POPULAR each niche is and how many people are finding success with each niche, and not a representation of the total profits generated or how easy/hard it is to run in the respective niches.

I watched Anthony Sarandrea's speech in the most recent AdWorld, and he quoted something by Bill Gross (founder of GoTo.com and pay per click) that really resonated with me. I'd like to share that below.

"The wrong focus is better than being unfocused."

I actually tried to google that quote, and found this: https://www.businessinsider.com/bill...focus-focus-18

"Focus is always better. We were so worried we were going to pick the wrong focus . . . it turns out that focus is so important, even if you pick the wrong focus you're doing better!"

Anthony Sarandrea went on to give this example...

"Even if you picked Auto Insurance, and it's the "wrong" focus - Medicare would have been the "right" focus - staying drilled down focused is better than: 'I ran for a week and now I'm not sure....now let me try [something else]'."

Hope this inspires someone!

Hi, many different studies have been conducted and each of them stated that the gambling niche is growing with each year. The pandemic in particular ensured the sector's advance, since a large number of people were unable to leave their homes.

Can you please link to some of the many different studies to prove your claim?

Here's an example - h2gc.com conducted a study and found that the number of players in the gambling vertical is on the rise. Hexa Reasearch also predicts a massive surge in the number of gamblers by 2023.

Plus, you can always look for local agencies that focus on analyzing a specific GEO and take a look at their data

Thanks @clicklead! Here's another one I just came across last week - it specifically addresses impact from covid:

There are industry reports like this for every industry. I love looking at stats like these. They provide insight into which verticals are the best, what audiences to target (age, gender, etc.), advertising angles, and more.

It's a little self-serving for me to say that HEALTH is #1 ... But you can make any niche profitable if you tie it to a human need.

Cashvertising by Drew Eric Whitman was the first book to really help me tie in people's human needs with the offers I ran as an affiliate marketer.

If you learn to do this effectively, you can dominate most niches

Insurance - auto, home, life
Home Services - solar being quite massive, despite it's geo limitations
Refi

Of course, I'm also suggesting not only the verticals SuCo has O&O offers, but verticals I've been working on for 3 years.

All that said, if the Offer is good, angle is inspiring and the consumer is right, there's no limit to verticals that can be successful. A better question might be, what verticals now pose to many limitations to be viable, via traditional promotional sources.

Pretty much the whole cpa marketing is around evergreen markets - Wealth, Health and Love. For what I see, igaming is the biggest trend in affiliate marketing in the Russian and CIS countries for the past two years.

What offer type exactly do you mean? There have been several ones mentioned in this thread.

Popular and profitable niches can vary and change from year to year, so the best idea would be to regularly track trends and see what people have been searching lately, but from my experience in affiliate marketing and comments that I read from others, I would say that with dating, gambling, gaming and nutra verticals you can't be wrong since they have always been popular and they will only continue to grow as they are expanding to new markets and GEOs, so new opportunities always appears.

Every niche is great if you know how to work with it According to dating, this niche is the most stable which for years hasn't undergone so many changes in approach, funnel, and creatives. So we would say it's an ever-green niche, that always shows great results and conversion
