Outbrain US traffic horrible quality?

Hello!

Has anyone had any luck with US traffic on Outbrain? I have been running a bunch of successful campaigns for UK, FR, DE but if I try a campaign in US or CA the traffic quality is absolutely horrible, like 90% bot traffic from garbage publishers.

And since you can only block 30 pubs/100 sections it's not even possible to blacklist enough of them.

Any ideas?

If you already have some spend history with them, I’d suggest to submit a ticket to their support pr reach out to your account manager asking to increase the block limit.

The 30/100 is ridiculous for their inventory, however seem to be very positive when it comes to lift this limit to a higher range.

Testing a new offer #1 on OB / US, and it has converted well for me from the jump, with minimal sections blocked (deff under 30).
When I tested the same offer on TB / US, I spent $250 with 0 conversion. Tried offer #2 on OB US / CAN with no luck, but did well in DE / GB.
So might just be the wrong mix of the offer / ad / audience for the US traffic..... maybe there is a lot of bots, but haven't bothered to check myself.
