Through the trials and tribulations of AM we all tend to encounter small problems and find quick solutions for them.
For example, cleaning landers > you find a way to use REGEX to delete all <script> snippets from a document. Or for some back-button redirect you spend hours scouring the web, forums, testing and then finding one that works > adding it to a pile of JS snippets you have in a folder somewhere.
Or for exporting data from a traffic source for analysis or upload somewhere else, you hack away at a basic VB Macro in Excel that lets you one-click to reformat a sheet the way you want... saving you 30 seconds every time you do it, and ultimately minutes/hours over the course of a month or years.
Or for all your swiped images for creatives, a tool to mass-rename everything to make your folders less chaotic.
So tell me, what are your favourite little hacks, scripts, tools that you have discovered or worked on over the years?
And are there any things you wish you had, like an automation to make X/Y tedious task easier?
Hey zeno, nice thread.
Stuff I tend to automate and hack is in general tech-focused and most of those hackies are here, as contributions.
I struggled with offer url generation so I coded a simple react app to help me create campaigns a bit quicker.

I struggled with landing pages deployment so I made script that automatically deploys it after commit.
Lately I moved a little bit out of this track to focus on real-life improvements related to entrepreneurship, self-discipline (cold showers, waking up a little bit earlier), self-presentation (a tough shell for me), and last but not least - much more reading (important) and thinking about ways to reach my goals (more important).

One of my favorite topics, here are some things I do:
They are usually simple console scripts coded in Laravel, that I either run manually or they run via cron on server:
). I would need to apply some dynamic font-sizing, but I couldn't figure it out and the project was taking longer than doing it manually.
But some food for thought, if someone figures it out, I will be the first buyer!
