Web Push Notification as an effective and profitable SEO strategy for 2021
Hey guys!
Here is an interesting blog for publishers
Natural referencing (SEO) is the essential acquisition technique of any web marketing strategy. It is very effective and allows you to ensure regular traffic on your site.
On the other hand, it is also the technique for which the competition is the toughest: search engines and their algorithms use many metrics to put forward your site for a given query.
Why establish a SEO strategy?
SEO is in the first position in many areas concerning the performance of a publisher or e-commerce site. Here are some numbers:
- +80% of Internet users search online for information on a product
- +69,000 Google searches per second
- 80% of clicks are made on the first 5 results (+30% on the first one)
- 50% of Internet users leave the site if it takes more than 4 seconds to open.
- 1 second of waiting time per page results in 11% loss of visits and 7% loss of conversion.
- For Amazon, a 1-second increase in load time costs 1.6 billion in sales in 1 year.
- 53.3% of all website traffic comes from organic research
We can thus notice that many elements have to be taken into account to improve site’s referencing: the content, the strategy and the technique.
Let’s discover how Web Push Notifications can help to improve different metrics, and thus, to improve the natural referencing of your website!
How does it work?
Web Push Notification allows messages to be sent directly to the user's device. To be allowed to send notifications, the user must first give his consent via a browser window called "Hard Asking". As a general rule, about 15% of the visitors of a site authorize the notifications (opt-in process to Web Push Notification) according to the statistics collected on the sites having activated the software of collection and sending of web push notification Notifadz by Adrenalead.
Web Push Notification for natural referencing
When you take the initiative to include web notifications in your digital strategy, you have the power to write personalized messages and communicate with your audience. This power induces the possibility to bring your audience back at any time and create a sense of brand preference.
Web Push Notifications for web and media publishers.
As a publisher, you have the possibility to push your new articles to your base! Creating a kind of RSS feed that appears directly on your audience's screen. This has the effect of bringing additional qualified traffic to your site! Moreover, only those interested in the article in question will click on the notification, which reduces the bounce rate of these pages. This way, you improve different metrics taken into account by Google's algorithm and at the same time position your site for better SEO.
Web Push Notifications for Merchants and eRetailers :
If you are an e-merchant or e-retailer, the Web Push Notification will also allow you to attract qualified traffic to your marketplace! This solution offers the possibility to create specific scenarios and to highlight promotional offers, shopping cart abandonment, cross selling... Thanks to this, your merchant site will see several of its metrics develop, which will naturally improve the organic referencing of your site!

Do you have any study to back these claims? One can be interested by an article, click to see it, then leave. That will actually increase your bounce rate...

Me too.
It's probably true that google monitors the behavior of people who are logged in with their google IDs, especially for those users who use Chrome but I never really thought about these from the SEO perspective. So would be nice to see some good articles about this topic.
