I'll even take tier 2's if that's all we got. Basically im trying to test english landers so i can discern a leader or few leaders before translating them, to cut down on labour time.
Tried testing them on thai traffic, terrible plan, very misleading stats.
if anyone has a good sand box for me to run them in before taking them off to the outside world, that would be ideal, and if those geo's are known to be popular for sweeps offers even better! However i just need to get off the ground at the minute so beggars can't be choosers.
Nah, don't do that.
That's not the best approach.
If you're in Tier 3/4 you're most likely doing sweeps. Which has like 3 landers total: Spinner, Giftbox, and Quiz. Just take your best one and translate into whatever languages you need in google translate or deepl. It will absolultely work. Not perfect, but 1000% better than using English in a random geo.
I see you left a some questions on my FA and I was a piece of shit and never responded (missed it somehow, sorry), so I'll do that now and try to answer all your questions.

I appreciate the feedback on this front, i did have a giftbox lander that was reasonably strong, so i should probably just stop overthinking it.
Alternatively, just rip landers that are already in your target language.
If you stick with landers that have received the most traffic (from a spy tool), and test a couple versions of each of the most popular lander styles (e.g. for sweeps there are the 3) that you've optimized for speed etc., you can almost guarantee that at least one of the landers will be a decent converter.
For initial testing this is all you need. Of course, once you've found a decent offer, you can then use that to test more landers - that would be a good time to innovate on ripped landers, including getting better translations.
For manual translations, Fiverr is the cheapest in general, unless you need massive amounts of translations done, in which case it may be cheaper to find someone on Upwork or similar. For Fiverr you can test a few translators that have the most reviews with the highest star ratings, and make sure to tell them you need advertising text and ask them to be concise in the wording. To split-test translators simply use the exact same lander with text by different translators.
Hope that helps!
