Latest Chrome Browser for Android breaks Voluum campaign?

Hi!

I have a campaign that is doing great on everything except Android Chrome browser (which is the largest volume by far). After looking at the data I discovered there is something with the later versions of Chrome browser that completely breaks the campaign but I can't figure out how!

This is what the data looks like:

Pretty obvious that something happened after Chrome 85!

This is just a super standard diet campaign ran through Voluum on Native.

Does anyone have any clue what's going on? I have tested the website in a bunch of emulators and on phones with chrome browser but it always works for me.

85 and after must have introduced some change I'm not aware of

Your problem is likely that Voluum may not always receive the info it needs to do the redirect correctly, due to Chrome 85 change in referrer policy:

Chrome will improve user privacy and security by switching to strict-origin-when-cross-origin as the default policy, instead of no-referrer-when-downgrade. Web developers may specify a referrer policy on their documents if they need a different policy.

Oh my god, I have lost thousands because I couldn't figure this out and all I needed was 1 single line of code on the lander! Now it works
