Any reason why Voluum will only track half the clicks from Google Ads? (3)

The last time I've run some google ads traffic through Voluum, the discrepancy has been pretty high too. Not sure why, but would like to hear from other people whether they had the same experience. Just for the record, I couldn't find any setup problems with my funnel either.

I'm new to this whole "Direct Tracking" thing so I have no idea if I set it up right or not.

I assume since it is recording some of it that I'm at least doing something partially right.

I'm looking at a campaign right now I just launched though and it's only recorded 9 clicks but Google Ads shows 17.

Obviously a pretty big discrepancy, and at this point I'm even wondering if Voluum is even the right choice for Google Ads.

So do you not use the tracker at all for Google Ads? I am actually thinking of ditching it and just using Google Ads own conversion tracking.

Just got over your message and I'm not sure if you already solved your problem, but I want to put some light on how this parallel tracking is working.

Not sure how Voluum is doing this, but when tracking Google Ads it's very important to follow the Parallel Tracking requirements.


In CPV Lab we have this implemented using the Direct Traffic code which performs all the tracking directly in the landing page. This means that you will redirect from Google Ads directly to the landing page which leads to accurate results and no click loss when tracking.
