A Tracker's Response to COViOS14

Hey all,

The iOS 14 changes are bringing a lot of pain to many advertisers -- particularly those who are direct linking FB ads to landers, don't use a paid media focused tracker like FunnelFlux, Voluum, RedTrack etc. and are relying on the FB pixel for their data analysis and conversion tracking.

COViOS14 comes along and decides you don't need iOS data, now its a royal pain to figure out your performance/ROI on iOS traffic and ads in general.

For many its a time to start using trackers again, if you weren't before, just to have accurate conversion data, but now the added hassle of syncing everything, seeing FB data in one platform, looking at different tracker data somewhere else.

We're working on a potential solution for this that will allow you to connect the tracker with your FB ad accounts, pass ad/adset/campaign IDs automatically, then run reports that pair your tracker data with the FB data > give you a consolidated table. Think of it like "Enriched FB Ad Reporting".

I have done a mockup of this and I wanted to get community feedback. See below:



The idea is FB provides the ad data, in in the same time window, we match it with our data. You could then breakdown by impression device on the FB side, and we would match the rows for iOS, Android etc. against our data for those.

Thoughts? Would this help you as a FB advertiser? What would you do differently?

P.S. We're also working on integration with adcost.io so that you'll be able to auto-sync your data costs with FB as well, so that the ROI data in our other reporting areas is also accurate and detailed.
