RevContent widgets with very high click rate that, but 0 clicks in my tracker
Hey guys. Just started a campaign and i have a widget with 18 clicks from 23 impressions for a CTR of 78%, but not a single one of those clicks showed up in my tracker. How does that work? Other widgets and their clicks are being tracked, but nothing from this one... So i'm a bit confused about what's happening here.
On a related note, i've also noticed sometimes i get widgets with CTR over like 400% (highest one being 800%), so obviously the same person is just repeatedly clicking on my ad and i'm being charged for it... Is there a point in asking RC to refund those clicks or is this just part of the game and gotta deal with it?

This is called click-loss. Usually a bot clicking on your ad and immediately stopping the request, which is why it does not appear in your tracker.
You can ask for a refund, but it depends of each traffic source.

That's weird, normally its the other way around...
Revcontent seems to have TONS of phantom clicks...
I have Revcontent campaigns in my tracker I haven't run in over a year that still get several dozen clicks per month... I don't know if its Revconent's QA system going through and clicking the links on every campaign on the platform that hasn't been deleted/archived, or what it is...
And then same thing with the campaigns that are live... some widgets will show the same amount of clicks in the tracker as in the Revcontent dashboard, some will show 5 times as many in the tracker... and those are goo widgets a lot of the time too...
But yeah I haven't experienced the opposite very often where the Revcontent dashboard shows clicks for a widget but not the tracker very often though... that's weird...
If it keeps happening I'd just block that one... if it spends like $50+ before you can block it I would let the rep know too and hopefully you'd get a refund, but it seems that for the most part they've cleared out all the 'bot widgets' at this point. I just started a new run of network campaign on there and there are a few 0% lp ctr widgets I've had to block, but nothing like back in the day a couple years ago where some bot widget would attack you and spend $100 before TheOptimizer could block it...
But yeah, also possible that somehow the clicks from that widget are showing up under a different widget ID or something...

Most native ad networks tend to make a re-evaluation for the previous day clicks and remove the cost of the obvious bot clicks.
Wait for the next day to see if the cost of those clicks has been credited back to your balance. If not, then send a message to their support. Including screenshots from both your revcontent account and your tracker where the difference is visible might help getting to the root of the issue quicker.
As for the same person repeatedly clicking on your ads, you can easily see it in your tracker. Almost all trackers nowadays are somehow reporting clicks vs. unique clicks.

78% is impossible CTR to achieve, so it's definitely either some bots and your tracker is filtering these out, or it's a bug at revcontent.
Out of 23 impressions, it's absolutely normal to not have a single click, so I wouldnt worry about this at all.
